Since the proverbial cat is out of the bag....

:cheerleader:

The Connie is 42" at the mirrors (fully extended, they fold in like car mirrors) and 38 or so at the bags.

MAKE SURE you read the owners manual about the key fobs, etc. It can save a headache later on.

If it's an '08/'09 supposedly you can replace the batteries in the TPMS sensors. The '10 up is a sealed one pc unit.

Join cog-online.org tons of info on these.

I'm installing an MRA x-creen tour windshield wing tonight, I'll post pics. Everyone swears this gets rid of ALL buffeting.

Sweet thanks for the info and i'll check out that site. Yes it's an 09 So hopefully they are replaceable. Stupid design if not. They are 140 each..

The busa is about 30" with the mirrors fold in. I only have about 35" of room... Hoping it will fit with the mirrors folded in and the bags off

Wouldn't fit through the door even with the bags off until I pulled the mirrors off then it went right in. Sucks to do that everytime, But atleast it's easy to do and only 6 screws.. That way it sits in a/c and heat.. So it's nice when I do services..

I joined that site. SteveH is my username over there.

No pics xchief?? :dunno:

I painted the stock windshield last weekend. Added a little "sportiness" to it I think.

So since you painted the wind shield how can you see when you're in a tuck hitting 140 on that deserted road? Oh I forgot this is the hayabusa.connie.org forum .....

I don't need to tuck. Just move the windshield up..

Sportiness relative to what? :poke: I guess it looks more sporting than the lazy-boy in my living room.

Umm how do you see through it when it is "up"?

Well played...

When the screen is all the way up, I still look over it, not through it.

To your credit Bots the blacked out windscreen does improve the looks even if it is mounted in a Cowasaki.....

Job well done :beerchug:

It's funny that the longest thread in months on the Busa site is about a Connie

I upgraded your bike for you Bots... :hide:
