It’ll be green and electricI think between decreasing motorcycle sales, emmisions, the EV push, government regulations, and Suzuki in general...I doubt we'll ever see a gen4 Busa.
What do you mean by kickstand already remedied? I’ve not heard this but would like to know.I love mine. The engine, the suspension, the brakes, how stable and balanced it is. Just so intutive and effortless to ride it. The most popular online MC magazine here in Hungary wrote an article about the Gen 3 how it is misunderstood - many turn away because of the apparent drop in performance figures, but this bike is not about chasing records, but being as balanced, ridable and durable as possible. I confirm the first two and have no doubts about the third.
While I could live without so many electronics, it is great to have them, because they transfom the bike. There is a mode for highway, one for twisties, one for city riding and with that the Busa became the best over-the-top UJM.
Only negatives are the rare starting issue, the kickstand (already remedied), the engine heat and the fuel consumption that is 6.19l/100km or 38mpg for me.
I believe he was talking about the "kickstand mod" the same as all the other generations needed...What do you mean by kickstand already remedied? I’ve not heard this but would like to know.
Thank you much, I thought Suzuki had done something different, I understand now.I believe he was talking about the "kickstand mod" the same as all the other generations needed...
Tampa here.... 99* dailyPanhandle checking in...concur with three zillion % humidity.
Boy, the Tampa rain, let me tell you. It's white out rain conditions. I live farther south and you guys win with the Tampa Bay feeding you a down poor. Almost rode my bike up there for work and went, NOPE.Tampa here.... 99* daily
Dont touch you clutch lever, not even a little. The slightest touch causes it. I know it's hard but you must resist touching your clutch lever when using the quick shifter. That's terrible!
The brake issue alone is total BS.
I wouldn't buy a new gen3 right now for anything.
Suzuki is F'n up Big time.

Strange, it is yet to happen to my bike, but good to know. Thanks for describing it!Every once a while after making a shift the bike pauses/hesitates for a moment, it feels like a loss of power, then it picks back up. This happens in either QS mode. I think it happens less in QS 2 and when making sure to shift with a purpose and be aggressive, but it still happens, happened to me last ride, I have over 6k miles in almost a year.
Yeah, that's what I was referring to. The reports/videos of bikes going suicidal, rolling off and falling down on their own were unnerving.Thank you much, I thought Suzuki had done something different, I understand now.
That's the problem i was having on my L7 GSXR 1000,3 recalls later and the oem QS is in the bin and replaced by a Translogic which is smooth as butter every time.Every once a while after making a shift the bike pauses/hesitates for a moment, it feels like a loss of power, then it picks back up. I concur with the Translogic unit, mine is awesomeThat's the problem i was having on my L7 GSXR 1000,3 recalls later and the oem QS is in the bin and replaced by a Translogic which is smooth as butter every time.
Good to see Suzuki still hasn't learned repurposing old poop.

I’m still in mode A like it to much to change ,maybe when I get older .Good point, I rode in mode 2 for the first 400 miles then switch to mode 1 and SURPRISE!
I leave mine in A mode all the time too now, that baby is crisp! Don’t know if you ever get too old for power. My best friend is 81 and drives a 69 pro street Mustang with a 427 cross bolt main, you older guys will know what a cross bolt main is.I’m still in mode A like it to much to change ,maybe when I get older .
