So I noticed a few things about my bike...And getting frustrated with searching.

Pashnit, very good to meet you sir...

Your site is one of the main reasons I decided on a busa... because of the sport-tour ability that you show is possible...

I will be getting those front lines from you.. Have rotors on the way from schism, who is among the nicest forum members ive ever met.. and a tre from redfalco whos EQUALLY as impressive.

Rashad, that's quite a flattering compliment to be the one that aided your decision in buying this bike. Thanks

Braided brake line is headed your direction, Have by Monday. New windscreen on the way too.

Good for you for deciding to get those brakes back to staock.
Something else to consider regarding suspension set up... go to the owners manual, and get the settings back to stock. It's easy and only takes a couple of minutes.
That is your best starting point.
Now regarding the TRE, your right about diverse opinions. But ultimately in order to know for sure, you may have to do it yourself.
That GiPro gear indicator and TRE unit, is awesome. Google it for yourself. I have had one on both of my Busas.
I CONSIDER IT AN ESSENTIAL.

:welcome:

Did you notice a problem with the front brakes before you checked out the bike? The single front rotor isn't really an issue. People like to think it is and will tell you every reason all in the name of "safety". Yet, they're next thread is about getting a knee down on the street somewhere.
But you can't go wrong with the factory dual rotors. Good luck on your build.

GMbusa, the front brake works fine..but i never rode one with both of them so i guess i cant compare...

I will get the brakes sorted and I just ordered a windscreen and have a tre coming as well... She is coming along.... paint, carbon fiber, chrome, tobin seat.. and life will be complete!

Just an update FYI...

I have met some amazing folks on here that love to help!!

I recieved a smart TRE from an awesome member on here...

I can honestly say that these bikes should ride from the factory the way this thing rides now... I was going to do a TB sync before I put this on..I still may but WOW I dont need one like I thought I did!!

Verdict: TRE Ownz. So much smoother down low.. no more twitchy second gear cornering.

yeah or first gear.. ya know... low speed stuff like at red light intersection right turns...

It used to be on/off throttle anything under 3-4K.. the TRE did exactly what I hoped it would.
