Spark Plug threads broke off clean.

hey russ- dont sweat it man, just take your time and pay attention... its not open heart surgery... everything gonna be fine, and when you're all done you're gonna be like 'jeez- that wasn't nuthin'... just dont get in a rush- thats when you (I) screw things up...

You can get it out yourself without taking it to a shop. I had to same thing happen to me with some NGKs at the track when I got a bad batch of race fuel.

The dreaded 5.4L spark plug problem... Ford makes a kit to fix these now, and its like a 5 minute job..

Only if you fix before you break one....

Waiting for my extractors to come in. UPS delivers them tomorrow. So I will take a whack at it Wednesday. Wish me luck lease:. If anyone has any more tips I am open to them

Worst case scenario, I pull out the plug and the threads are stripped on the inside... I dont know how that wouldve happened but I am preparing for the worst so I dont cry too much if it happens :cry:

I am. Lee is in Charlotte and I am in Camp Lejeune on the coast. He is just on the other side of NC

6 hours? you drive like an ole lady then. It's only 3 hours from corner to corner of NC.
