Doug, I'm very happy you have let us participate in the fate of the site you created. As you have read here, You have done more than you expected in your wildest dreams. As you can see you have done it well by attracting the kind of people that are like you, Givers.
I am PROUD of Andy for steppin up knowing you would crack his skull when you found out he did.
I am PROUD of every member that has sent Something. I could only send $20 this week. I'll check things at the end of next week and see what i can do then.

Perhaps we can find a way to make the raffle debt disappear. Perhaps those that participated can have a choice of either considering the ticket a donation OR getting their ticket money refunded. Make the offer and see if financially it would be less of a load to refund those that want their money back. If we can lessen the financial burden that way then why not consider it? I know that in the end, the reality would bethat the money was actually a donation to Mr. Asshat but hey, in life we can't choose family right?!? my .02 if that's the cost of geting rid of a loser then so be it.
I'm going to stop rambling now. Know that WE appreciate YOUR creation and WE would like to help make sure it stays around a while.

you know i bought a busa cause i waited my time on a 98 zx9r and new that i needed time on it. so i finally bought merlin and then i was playin around and stumbled onto this great wonderful site. i am hooked i have met many people got to voice my opinion's i dont have to put up with the high school trash talk. everyone here helps out a great deal towards each other like for instance i am purchasing windscreens from a member he pmed me just to say that one of them had a crack and he was sorry do i still want them you know where else but here would someone have done that. i am young i know but to have the tigh close night family here is great. in a way we are the BUSA MILITIA
Capt just keep it up we all appreciate the hard work everyone puts into this site. it is the best out there for the donations i would pay to use this site it is that great in my eyes. ok enough of the soap box

Accept it, you have done a great service for the Busa Community (and Internet boards in general). Now let the rest of the Family help to keep the good commuity service going.

I have given out my address for folks to use, and am also working with folks who are using Western Union.

To keep everything on the up&up I constantly update the info page I started . The Captain averages over 100 Pm's a day right now,thats why I offered up my addy etc to help with the load.
It appears VaBusa is going to tackle as much of the technical questions as she can...thx. So, thats leaving me free for donation help.

I've always hated to jump in posts that make me feel like I'm just jumping on the perverbial band wagon, but I've gotta jump in here! I can't add much more then what most people have already said~ I spend more time here then I do at my own site where I moderate! I think Revlis prolly put it best... this place is like the back alley that Hank Hill hangs out with his bro's drinking suds~ It's a family kinda thing~ There will be wicked red headed step children and trolls every now and then.. but they soon learn to convert or just go away~ It's a drama free site (for the most part) and everyone treats each other with respect and brotherly/sisterly love~ It's truly home away from home~ Even, if for some crazy reason, I was to get rid of the Busa.. I'd still come here just for the comaderie(sp?) that this place breeds~

Thanks Cap'n and I'm glad that your Mrs has been able to let some of the extra weight off her shoulders due to the good people of the org~

I would just like you to know that although we had our differences over that one subject, I was more than happy to help the ORG out. No matter what happened, you did not deserve to get all of this thrown into your lap. You are always going above/beyond for the members here. This is the one board that I know I can come to without all of the drama like the others. The maturity level, and compasion shown by the members here make this board feel like home.

If it weren't for you taking that initial risk in the beginning, then none of this would have been possible. Thanks for all that you do.

I'm not only a newbee to this sight, but also a newbee to the internet as well. Prior to joining this sight, I'd only sent 5 emails before in my life. I'm truly amazed by the stuff I've read here in the last few days. What started my interest in this site was the outpouring of help for complete strangers. I bought Timmyduck's crashed '05 busa, and when I went to pick it up he had half the parts to rebuild her compliments of other members. I had new cans, mirrors, levers, and bar ends. I don't have the history of past events in reference to the $ thing, but I can share my gratitude and amazement with the people who post to this site. You've created a truly special place here that I'm proud to be a part of.
