I'm 65. Not planing on any engine mods but otherwise, the Busa is a superb hot rod.
Having a lot of fun making improvements to make her my own. To modify and improve is in my blood.
Also fulfills my need to improve myself (riding skills). What a machine!

I'll be 29 in a couple weeks and own a 09 with no mods yet. When money allows it I plan on adding a new exhaust, GPS, and a suspension meant to handle all 250lbs of me.

What a great thread..... fun to see how many seniors own these awsome bikes.
Mostly comfort mods. The full Muzzy and power commander....and airbox mod.. this thing rocks my world. I turned 58 on the 15th.

that's everything i can think of right now i'll start on the motor and tranny when i need a rebuild

I bought an 05 last Fall, it had a few mods (Yosh cans, bobbed tail, small airbox mod, double bubble) and I wasn't planning on doing any myself. Next thing I know, I stripped the PAIR valve because I got tired of the popping sound, put it iridium plugs, fairing grills, PCIII, Z-Bomb, trhottlemeister, buell pegs, pipercross air filter, did a plate relocation, installed new grab bars and a Scotts oil filter (see signature). Still waiting in the toy bin: galfer steel lines, EBC HH brake pads, handle bar riser (not sure about that one), GPS (with bracket kit and extra antenna), and HID system. I did buy a mototek undertail, but I will not install it (don't want to cut that much plastic and relocate a bunch of stuff - alarm system). Her name is Ginette and I am a brand new quinquagenarian.

45 in November....ouch. Anyway, Two Brothers slip ons (purely for sound), Heli Bars, ZG Sport Tour Windscreen, Vista throttle lock, New Image Seat (coming this week!).

I am 60, and could not take the stock exhaust. The rest of the mods are for touring/comfort.

39 and did the exhaust change and lowered it but just recently raised it back up. I have a Tobin seat on it and Buell peg mod, oh yeah and a double bubble windshield (a must). Other than that all stock.
