Stock Bikes/age group

51 and aside from brakes, suspension, exhaust, wheels, paint and numerous cosmetic and ergonomic changes, I am totally stock.

A lot of old heads on busas. Wow. That's good to know. I hope I'm as spirited in my upper years. You guys are hard core in my eyes. I'm 27 and my busa is bone stock. K&N air filter sitting on tool box. Thinking about Corbin seat setup with the sissy bar. Would like a tourer setup. Would like to upgrade exhaust, but want to keep it "stock" quiet. Hmm
:beerchug:

soon to be 54 09/21/, 02 busa stock except elertic shifter ,tre, dub bubble w/screenslight change to front and rear shock settings 31,000 miles and is all good .

Soon to be 53 and I had a Concours before the 99..that was more moded!
I think the changes on the Busa have been comfort/convience, not performance specific......but 17/43 sprockets and a 200 rear on chrome rims add some additional fun!

In the Mod debate I also have to agree with Raydog, I like to make the bike my personal bike. I have improved the comfort, handling, braking and sheer fun factor of my ride over stock form. How much is that worth? Only each one of us can answer that for ourselves. There are many out there that believe a 2 wheeled 180 RWHP motor vehicle to be excessive and unnecessary. :beerchug:

I'm 49 and my only mods are the Yoshi pipes and Helibars not looking for extra ponies happy with the stock one's. I still like to see what everyone else does to make their ride "Their Ride" we are all individuals and have all sorts of great ideas, as I see it we are all ARTISTS and the BUSA is our canvas....:beerchug::thumbsup:

42 years old and have an 08. Changed the exhaust (two brothers), juice box that came with the exhaust, raised the handl bars 1.5 inches and switched the windshield to the "double bubble", and leather seat. handlebars and windshielf for comfort as I mostly just cruize and places me in a perfect position. Exhaust because I didn't like the huge exhaust that came on the bike

I was just reading through the this post and saw this comment, the one about about 2 wheel 180rwhp and being excessive and unnecessary. I hear that alot from some, but having it is just FUN! I don't ride a Busa but have visited here quite often cause the folks here are very passionate about riding and bikes in general.

I'm 53 and loving everyday riding the VMax, and I'm sure there are plenty of you Busa riders who agree that having so much power in the bike is fantastic and very enjoyable.....as long as the Po-Po don't tag you and impound the bike.

Oh and mods are: X-pipe, air box mod, speed restrictor gone.

I am 60, and did the full exhaust for looks and sound mostly. I will hit the drag strip every now and then, but I don't get too serious about it. I ran a 6.999 eighth mile and that satisfied me for now. The rest of the mods on my list below were for comfort. I do like to tour, and hit the twisties down in Arkansas whenever I can get down there. My next time down there I plan to take the new to me ZX-10 and hit Push Mountain Road on it. That is in my opinion much better than The Gap, and only 4 hours from here.
