stop war?

I've been elected President of the United States.

We all know killing is not very nice, but they started it, so we have troops there now. You the people that voted me in, want the killing, foriegn invasion, and billions of dollars on war to stop.

What do you want me to do? How can we fend off terrorism, help other countries, and still get all that oil to fund my family... er... I mean to keep gas prices low?

Wow, that's deep. The fact that war has been a part of the human race for so long was the reason I thought we should have considered long and hard before we became involved in a religious war in the Middle East. WWJD, in your post, you stated "they started it'. Who is they, in this case?

k, so coming into work I see a bumper sticker that just said, "STOP WAR" and I thought, ok, makes sense... lets stop killing and wars and stuff, cuz killing is bad. How do we do that without allowing our country to become the next warzone?

Find that delicate balance between not getting walked on and not walking on others. Easier said than done though.

Right now, without our feeding and stoking the American War machine our economy really would collapse. As it's always been our economy will be held up via the war then Boom after, followed by a period of prosperity.

All we need is for the politicians to STOP trying to keep us scared all the time, quit agreeing to the signing away of our rights and liberties and we'll be back on track.

Pull out AFghanistan is uncontrollable. Always has been, always will be. All you can do is go in hit the terrorist leaders, kill them and get out. Pull out of Iraq. Too much blood and treasure has been lost there. Take the money we spend there and build up our defenses. Secure our borders. Rearm our nuclear silos. Take the oil in Iraq. We certainly have paid for it. Go by our Constitution for a change.
