SUPERBUSA goes over 200mph

We had a window to get to a 1.7 mile runway last Thursday. So I changed the gearing. 19/41 instead of the 18/43. Put a new tyre on the back with bigger rolling radius. I calculated 218 mph. Guess what? It went 218mph in less than a mile. Dragy confirmation below. We have some good video coming up too. Not bad for a pump gas supercharged bike running stock pump, stock injectors. Factory ECU and clutch. In total MCN did 6 flyers. I did 2. She held together well. As you can see I was easing through the gears, with just a 10.4 1/4 but the higher gearing gave me 164 on the 1/4 which is faster than at Santa Pod strip.

Do I recall correctly that you have air intake temps before and after the intercooler? Any chance you’d show a log file of that data?

We have several options to race 1/2 mile in the states and also 1 mile events. I believe a member here went 175 mph in a 1/2 mile recently so to get 25+ mph over that is nice.

This is what the world has been waiting for. Some actual numbers. Great job. She is hauling ass!!!!

Consider that it ran a 10.41 in the quarter at 164mph, lazy shifting, which could easily go into the 9's, and still gain a few more mph there as a result, so stock times, with alot more mph.
And with that quarter mile time, the stock bike would be lucky to get low 180's in the mile, so around a 40 mph gain.
This bike has very few modifications too(other than the sc itself).
All things considered, this thing is incredible, and I don't know how else you could go so fast for so little money, with so few mods.
I wanted one before I heard the numbers.
I want it even more now.

Not a stock motor. It has rods, pistons, valve springs, and gen2 camshafts...
Stock springs with 0.5mm shims under the inlets. We fitted rods and pistons but we have several gen 2's out there running just a 2mm spacer. Obviously we went safe with all the abuse the bike was going to get. But if you're not a top speed merchant i think a spacer and head studs is all you need. I hear of a few turbo guys out there doing the same. Gen 3 cams have to go though with any tune. As we get time we will play more with cams. A good exhaust is obviously a must. We just did a gen 2 with a set of replacement decat headers and twin Yosh cans it had great midrange but nosed over at the top so this is quite critical to get the best top end power.

very few mods other than the blower was how I understood it also. Come to find out... it has a fully forged motor. No mention of what kinda pistons/ what kinda rods though. No engine details.... Ill bet it has wossner pistons though. Because they are proven to work.
It is still Much cheaper than a big turbo bike, which is not nearly as streetable for someone like me, who turns left and right, wants linear power everywhere, and to be able to stop anywhere and get gas.
I'm not drag or roll racing.
It's apples to oranges again.
