Arrow rods and JE pistons, APE head studs, Cometic head gasket, TTS 2mm spacer.very few mods other than the blower was how I understood it also. Come to find out... it has a fully forged motor. No mention of what kinda pistons/ what kinda rods though. No engine details.... Ill bet it has wossner pistons though. Because they are proven to work.
The JE pistons are 2mm taller to help heat dissipate heat and they work well, I have used them for 20 + years. 9:1 compression. We are running 18psi at the rev limit.More on the motor..... with the base spacer AND the JE pistons.... what is compression ratio? Is it a 9-1 compression motor? How many pounds of boost was used?
It is possible to run stock internals but with 2mm spacer, APE head studs and Cometic head gasket. The white gen 2 we built like that at 400HP with E85 on B map and 370 on pump on A map. It still running well. Regarding 220mph I think we could easily get there with a bit more ignition advance. I played safe this time. Which paid off as MCN didn't give much time between runs. When you see the video you will see it hit 218 pretty quick as you can see, less than the mile even short shifting in every gear and then winding it on but then it hit a brick wall as I had the timing pulled back over the last 500rpm. If I was a bit braver with the timing it would bump 220 quite easy.wow... what a strange combo! congrats on the 220mph run. There is NO WAY to bullshit that number. Its got 220mph in it. Its got a good strong motor. I know you were proud that baby held together! Have u considered pouring in some race fuel and pushing for 220mph? Either way.. i wish you wouldnt insinuate that MAYBE this would be possible with a stock motor... it creates confusion and false hope. 370HP is FIRMLY in the built motor camp. If a person ever plans on using that 370HP........ it needs a strong motor. Even you made sure the bike you sent out with a jockey HAD a built motor.
I’m going to watch it over and over cause I love speed!!!!It is possible to run stock internals but with 2mm spacer, APE head studs and Cometic head gasket. The bike looked very stable at that speed too...I’m going to watch it over and over cause I love speed!!!!
In the US you have the roads to use the speed (law breaking doesn't seem to be an issue ). So sure a built motor is the way to go if you are that rider. Over here the Law would see you do a year in jail, if you could find the road to do the top speed. So running a lower spec motor is a realistic option. Or the guy in any country that doesn't intend to run to the max.All due respect... with your stature in this industry, espescially now with the publicity this is recieving. I think full disclosure and 100 percent clarity is warranted. Im sure itll go 220mph also...... no need to pull timing. But richard.... this bike HAS a built motor and u STILL did pull timing. Even with the built motor, you did pull timing for the sake of reliability. You knew there were alot of eyeballs watching this top end pull and you didnt want a catastrophe. thats the truth..... a built motor held the power, but u know a stock motor might not. it shouldnt even be a question at almost 400HP.

For warranty purposes we kit the serial number and kit details of all customers. So yes we have sold 7 gen 3 kits to the US. since we went live with the kit in July. 22. We have had very little feedback from anyone, gen 1,2 or 3 or B King so they are either all happy or slow on fitting the kit.Did u sell any in the united states? gen3 kits?
America is the centre of the universe when it comes to having fun and the money to spend on toys, and I have wished we were based there many times. You have a great country that I have visited many times and will do again. i have made many friends out there. This here is where the breakdown has occurred.
You eloquently described the riding conditions and roads.
We, as Americans cannot comprehend that there are other places with different conditions. What do you mean you can’t go 250mph on every road for 28 miles. I myself am guilty of this. We also have trouble understanding that due to the road limitations and let’s be honest, the weather (lmfao) you don’t usually get any roll racing scenes or big street drag racing. So why would that be in the thought process of building this bike.
I want to think with any amount of modifications it could be made to fit a roll or street racers desires.
I’d like to apologize to @powerfulone if anything I’ve said has come across as being an ass. I forgot or failed to get out of the America is the center of the universe thought process. And anyone who tried to convince me of such and I was too blind to see I apologize as well.
Hi. @ greg3852 Do you have any interest in going to Loring this summer? If so call me at 508-496-3323.This here is where the breakdown has occurred.

Good catch218 mph and the mirrors weren't folded and they had cameras on them......it probably would have gone 220 with them folded in......LOL!
.....and it sure did look stable at that speed.....
I caught that and the fact he was wearing an HD jacket during the intro......Good catch
That's alot more drag than most think it is.
I don't know, depending how the air flows around the bike, it could. Not to mention a number plate.
Not that it would make any tangible difference
Especially UK plates which are the size of a billboard...I don't know, depending how the air flows around the bike, it could.
I know they were just testing, but if they were doing a standing mile or mile and a half, you definately wouldn't want it on there.
That's a good catch too.
yep complete with number plate.Especially UK plates which are the size of a billboard...
