Terror attack on Bourbon St

First. It is a sad event for the victims and relatives and all affected by this. I pray for them.
Second YES it is and he must have been crazy to have done something like this. There are plenty of videos of the actual event to show a madman must be responsible.
Lastly out of 330+ million people ONE committed mass murder last night. Let's keep the perspective. Leading the worldwide newsfeed but still affects a very very very few people.

And the title to your video is now as of a few hours ago misleading. According to our most trusted law enforcement agency the F B EYE there are no accomplices and no addtl bombs. He was acting alone.

The govt has got us protected and says not to worry ok? So don't. Ok?
And please please pay no attn to the fact this guy used an all electric Ford and an all electric Tesla Cybertruck exploded in front of Trumps Vegas hotel killing the driver. The two terrorist events are in no way connected...

The F B Iiiii would also like you to ingore and not worry about the Red Orbs flying over your head too. :)

I don't think a home grown terror attack is anything to dismiss or take lightly regardless of the number of people affected.

Hard to post the latest updates as they are all streaming live right now.

Pretty crazy to think of a radicalized US citizen army veteran carrying out such an attack....

This is pretty close to me. We are getting a lot more "local" sourcing.

It looks to be shaping up to be more than one involved.

The traffic bollards were being upgraded in time for the Super Bowl. This isn't advertised. Somebody has to know this information. Somebody on the ground there. This is why they were not in place as they are at every other time. It's possible the terrorist could have spent time in town casing out the place, but that would be hard to believe since there is a lot of city that would need to cased by someone that knew what and where to look. Further when they don't have barriers up, they make a practice of using filled dump trucks to block traffic. Again it's not likely he just got lucky they weren't there by chance. They weren't there, they normally would be and again nobody but somebody there would know that in realtime.

Nola is a pretty spread out city. And it has federal buildings with lots of surveillance. Poydras St is like 2 blocks over. It would be hard to believe he wouldn't be seen casing out the area and have avoided Poydras. And the FBI office is only a few miles away.

There were some IEDs found inside the vehicle. Some evidence to suggest there were originally more in the truck.

And some reports that the truck was not rented by the terrorist. Unknown if it is perhaps a false ID but there are other names being run down on that.

Personally I'm surprised Nola hasn't been hit sooner. Bourbon St has always been a pretty soft target for like a backpack bomb type thing, and all the football traffic that comes to the games.

It's going to be tense month there until the Superbowl is over with.

.......and although it has been said the Vegas Tesla truck explosion isn't related, it too was rented.....

Odd that on the same day, two EV were rented and one used as a battering ram while the other exploded....

I think it comes down to "humans being humans" of which some are easily influenced.....

..........the Oklahoma City bombing comes to mind Nichols and McVeigh were army veterans as well....
I could understand that in the animal world.

Can’t understand it with humans being humans.

Guy dedicated his life to serve and protect, then does a 180 degree to destroy innocents.

Humans are animals and easy to influence and manipulate...

Just take a look at all the cults and extremists out there.......of which there are many.....when you witness a person very willing to blow themselves up in the name of extremism, it is quite sobering.....

Remember boys and girls.................................Democrats told us "diversity is our friend", the same thing they told Canada, Australia, Germany, and other countries where the "religion of peace" seems to be striking regularly.
Governments and experts told us this....not just liberals or democrats.....

We have lived with diversity for millennia....it's the emergence of extremism which has caused the issues we now face.

Your right, but these "extremists" hide behind the politically correct vial and you are NOT allowed to question or criticize their ways, thoughts, or opinions or you'll be charged with a hate crime and jailed for it. Sadly it seems ONLY white people can be charged with hate crimes in the west, while the "religion of peace" goes about it's reign of terror on the infidels in the west.

I can question or criticize their opinions w/o being criminally charged with any crime. Charges come when you do more than criticize. What is a politically correct vial?

The problem in Canada is it is such a fine line between questioning/criticizing and a hate crime.

If an Islamic extremist is yelling in your face, and calling for your murder and you tell him/her to shut up, and if they don't like Canada or it's people to pack up and go back to the middle east....................................You will be arrested for a hate crime, NOT the person screaming at you, being hostile towards you first and calling for your murder. Don't believe me????, it's already happened many times already.

Here in Canada Islamophobia laws give Islamic followers special rights, and basically make any criticism or questing Islam is now criminal.
In yet Pro-Palestine protesters can call for the death of Canada, Canadians, Christians, and the Jews without fear of arrest, and the police will arrest those who dare to question or protest against what they are calling for.

So, NO I'm sorry but diversity works as long as the West and the East keep themselves separated..................As clearly those from the East are outright refusing to assimilate into western society and instead are forcing western society to bend the knee and become the country they choose to leave originally.

We all laughed at Poland years ago with their hard stance against Islam.....................................WHO is laughing now, they are having NONE of these problems there and are living in harmony with each other in ways we can only dream about.

For hundreds of years the "Crusade" war was fought between Christians and Muslims....that war has never ceased, it has only shifted it's focus...

But even though these Crusades are long over, the mistrust between Christians and Muslims still exists.

Islamic extremists look at the west as weak mainly because we aren't united as a people, they can manipulate this.....there have been many home grown/lone wolf terror attacks in the west.....and I fear there will be an ever growing trend towards this...
