Terror attack on Bourbon St

I, me, Willem, the guy typing this post, is not and have never been more violent than an African Lion.
Let's go back to your dog and dear scenario. Say the dog owner is someone else. The dogs, acting on instinct, see a strange presence and protect their turf, killing the deer. The man, on the other hand, cognizant that the deer are harmless and looking for food or water, kills the deer even though he has plenty of food. Would the dogs, armed with that knowledge, do the same? How about the African lion? Can the level of savagery be measured correctly? Is violence mental as much as physical?
Human intellect, in the course of this particular judgement, is a handicap of sorts.
Yes, Human beings are the most violent species on earth , I have agreed with that over and over. But that excludes me an many others. We can be, but are not.
Perfect. There is no more you can say. The conversation has gone personal and I've yet to see anything good come from that.

If you want to compare the violence of the African lion to man, consider this:

To be equal, man would first be your friend, then he will kill you, because he wants both domination, and he wants your woman. After that, he will kill all your children, so he can start his own family with your woman.

I guess Hiroshima beats that in terms of violence, but outside of war very few men would be that violent.

I had a Siberian Husky, lost him at 10 years old due to cancer, great dog. Their prey drive however is so intense, they cannot be trained to resist that.
