I need help brothers and sisters. I'm a single fella and I don't have a shoulder to cry on. I went to go buy dinner for my parents since they are taking my son for a night out and when I came back out I found my bike on the ground. I about cried there in the lot. My first thought was I didn't put the kick stand all the way out, but then it hit me it was laying on the wrong side for that. Here are the pics.

What a load of crap. I always am worried about something like this happening when I leave my bike to go into someplace I can't see the bike from.

feel your pain, man!  anytime I park, I always put my bike as close to the "edge" of the space so that cagers will see it early on before they swoop in. any chance there are cameras in the parking lot???

i can't imagine how you must feel...makes me sick just seeing a picture of it

Is it worth my time to even turn it in on insurance or should I just buy the parts and fix it myself??

If it fell on the right side, did the cage damage the left side when they hit it? Whats your deductable?

+1 whats your deductable? It looks to me like your looking at $1200 in plastics alone, not to mention the bar end and brake lever... I have a set of stock bar ends if you need them... actually i have 2 sets so let me know and i'll put them in the mail!

I just wiped out in July of this year.I had to replace the front fairing and the left side.It cost me 1122.00 Canadian.I paid it out of my pocket I did NOT even contact my insurance company. There was no one else involved ,it was my fault(wet road!)
I wud not risk an insurance claim, just my personal experience!
Oh and sorry to hear about what happened!!!

I've got a $500 deduc. I need to look at the left side better, but right now I figure either someone hit the rear tire or they tried to sit on it and she got away from them.
