That Sounds Like Fighting Words

What a crock! The only people badmouthing the busa are people who don't have one. These folks need to start their own forum titled "I wish I had", and stay off a fourm designed for busa owners.

Jamie, well here we go again you come here spewing off Kawshit, fine all you want is a response.

ZX11 greatbike(Yesterday)!
ZX12 imaginarybike(NOW)!

AFTERMARKET PARTS! -
"GS1100" motor is over EIGHTEEN Years Old. There is more parts available for this motor than any ZX11 and they still make ZX11's.

1982-84 GS1100/1150 Suzuki motor, the finest piece of enginering for Big Block drag racing ever built. Roller crank and beefy overall build. It is still the motor of many records.Yes KZ1000 and KZ1100 are there too.

In 1986 Suzuki introduces the GSXR1100 - redefines motorcycle performance(stock)and establishes a new standard for the "Sportbike "class of bikes.

1983-1999 Honda Magna 1100, Yamaha V-Max, Kawasaki ZX11, Honda XX Blackbird are all big bikes with big power in their day.(as in the Past! and so was Babe Ruth!)

1999 Suzuki Hayabusa 172 crank HP kicks the door closed on everything before it and opens the door to "Ultimate Sportbike".

1999,Honda UK answers back with a limited edition XX1200 with engine mods, only sold in the UK in limited numbers.

Kawasaki 1999-2000 ZX12 the only new competitor able to knock on Suzuki's door.
Well, as of today it is all hype and no show.
The last time I checked you have to show up to be considered for a Championship Fight.
(it's a good thing Falcons don't have ears, Iron Kaw tyson).

Jamie the words you choose do not really do the ZX11 justice.I am sure you meant "obese" and "impotent" while spewing about that middleaged fat and can't get it up ZX11(mildly modified of course).

Take some Viagra and call your Kawasaki dealer for a ZX12r deposit.

Just don't expect Busa owners to believe your Kawshit - take it over to the ZX12r site and wait and wait and wait! :)

Maybe you Kawasaki people can form a online card game or something while you wait and wait and wait.

It is a long time till next summer. LOL!!!!

Amen Earl. This is OUR house and if these clowns are going to come here and take a dump on our carpet they should expect to get their noses rubbed in it. The first few to invade and spew crap were humorous but after a while I just want to slap some sense into some of the BS talking kids hiding behind keyboards. It appears jeolousy and envy are driving these idiots to post nearly anything in order to distract from the site's purpose. I wouldn't be surprised if the next clown challenges all of us to bring our Busas to Alabama to race against his hopped up trail50! :) The Busa has definetely created one hell of stir! Guess that goes with the territory when you are the top dog?
As for Josie - well we've already been around this tree a time too many to rehash[read the old posts for those with time to waste] but I will say that I'm loyal to a fault and you won't see me selling my Busa unless I decide to get a new Busa. Red/Black would sure be tempting. At least I have a Busa which is what brings me to this site. You sure as hell won't find me on the ZX, XX, R1 ... sites stirring up sh*t just to be annoying. I like a lot of different bikes and appreciate them for what they are. I couldn't bring myself to go to their web sites and post BS about their bikes. One who does is just asking to be stepped on. That pretty much goes with every facet of life - not just posting insults on web sites. Not owning a Busa and posting insults and BS about the Busa on OUR site instantly discredits the poster in my eyes. Unless you own a Busa you can only speculate on what it is really like to experience the Busa. For those that can't handle this - the exit is only a mouse click away.

Again you all have your heads so far up your own asses that you can't even read what I wrote.

I mentioned the ZX12 once and you've all gotten flustered. I'm not sitting here saying that the new ZX12 will break 300mph and do the quarter mile in negative numbers. I'm saying that a company known for making the fastest big bore bike for years isn't likely to give up or to have run out of technology. The stock 1052cc ZX11 beat your 1127cc GSXRs. Why can't they make a smaller engine than yours make better power levels, again? I agree that a bigger engine has more potential power than a smaller engine. That's why my bike displaces 1206ccs.

Again I haven't seen any responses from anyone in Pa willing to champion your group. I'll be at Pocono this month for the Cycle Jam, I hope to see you there.

As far as lightly modified ZX11s. Lightly is a relative term. For you guys with your new bikes and low after amrket support, a pipe and a chip is medium. But for a guy who's been playing with ZX11s for years I consider a 1 mm over, 1080cc, camed, one size bigger valved, piped, jetted Ninja mild. You'd all call that Yosh. None of you have done anything more to your bikes than a new slip on. I wish Frank lived closer, he sounds like my kind of guy, unlike the rest of you who are content with their magazine articles and their specified top speeds. Whenever you guys drop your balls take your bikes over to Frank's. Then I might give you a little respect. Till then you're no better than the Blackbird guys who shook their magazines at me and said they were better too.

Reliability!!! The Busa has it's own Broke It section!! LOL

Kawabuser,
After configuring this site to read all of your posts, I've concluded that if anyone here is 14 it's you. You are the biggest baby on this site and you and your smilely faces.....oh quick.....switch screens....here comes the English teacher..

Todd,
No one would like to back up their claims more than me. If you're in Pa or MD answer my post.

Peregrine,
You all sit here and act like your bike's performance is soooo untouchable. You guys have gone so far as to post that even other manufacturers couldn't possibly make your power. I'm saying YOU GUYS are dip-shits. Unless you've exhausted every possible modification to your bikes then it isn't unreasonable to think that someone who has couldn't waste you. Maybe you guys who buy the fastest bikes every year need to start playing with them a little more. Did you ever think that all the manufacturers have a deal going between them. Each one comes out with a faster bike each year, that way the guys with the "Must Have The Biggest bobo" syndrome will spread their money around to each maker. If the best bikes all came out the same year who'd buy the slowest?

In the end I'm glad Zuki finally raised the bar now Kawi can counter. And now I can blast someone else into the weeds other than a fellow ZX11.

Note to all spell checking and proofreading, consider it.

Jamie

I KNEW IT!!!!! I knew Jamie had a hot wheels but the problem was................he lost it and daddy has found it .........Yea for Jamie................................

Now I'm almost sorry I said something nice about Jamie!

BUT, did I hear someone else right? A few posts up - were you saying bad things about Mattels Hot Wheels?

No way! I have a hot wheels ZX-12 and, let me tell you, it is VERY FAST!

Vroooom - down the lounge cushion, vrooooom - across the carpet - yep, fastest thing on the planet, rev rev screeeee - yep, donuts on the mat, can't touch this baby's horsepower, vrooooom - power wheelie over the carpet again, oh no! Screeeeech! Crash! Wiped out on the leg of the coffee table! Damn that Kawasaki handling! Have to go back down the supermarket and by a hot wheels 'busa instead...

Did someone say "that's childish"?? :O)

Damn jamie, I tried to cut you some slack on the other thread, but dude, your being an ass.I agree with alot of these guys, stock fo stock there isn't a thing out there thats going to touch a busa(at this time).I also agree that the busa has over delivered on it's promises of performance, by quite a bit.So, how much did you pay for all of you "LIGHT" mod's?,And you Still can't beat a busa.On another point, alot of these guys have done alot more Than a "slip-on" to thier bikes, a few have done the full system with filter and remapping of the fuel injection, and some have even done airbox mods, so i know your talking poop there. There's another guy doing a 4mm over bore on his bike.Sounds to me like your the one with his head up his ass,and a big bobo syndrome.Maybe the zx-12 will be released, maybe it will be faster, but bear in mind, Suzuki plans to up the ante as well next year.Like i said in the other thread, you can't plame these guy's for loving the busa, it IS the heat right now, and it might just be for a while to come. So, i'm going to say this again, try using a little more tact in your post's, you might find that you won't get such negative responces,in fact if you word it just right, you might get a favorable debate going, instead of an argument,it might just be me, but i think that would be the better way to go.

Just my .02 cents
Tommy

"Oh I'm so tired of hearing about a bike that hasn't been built. What you're referring to is a rumor" too!!! And you tout it as gospel. The double standards here are neck deep.

How many of you have actually pulled the valve cover off? Let's hear from anyone who's done more than pipe, map and air box. Sounds like Frank has. Who else or is he the "a lot of people here" you were referring to? Last I checked there was no filter.

If I'm rude to any of you it's because that's how I was received.

Dude, I had a ZX12 Hot Wheels too but when my Dad sat on the couch it slid back under one of the cushions and I haven't seen it since.

jamie, i'll have my bike back the first week of sept. and i'll let you know exactly what all i did to it. my aftermarket air filter has been on for a couple of weeks now. i am looking at well over 200hp at the rear wheel. and a lightly mod. busa will have no problem with the new zx12 don't you think?

cyberJosie, the mom instinct in you is coming out.....................I hope Jamie appreciates it. I know I would...........hehe

Jamie - I'm not sure who pissed in your coffee again this morning but you really might want to consider what you say before stuffing another foot in your mouth. There are several Busa's getting modded other than Frank's. Guess you haven't heard of dragbike.com and their writeups on modded Busa's? Guess you haven't read the recent posts about air filters being released? Guess you really haven't taken the time to pull your head out of your ass? You are the one with the chip on your shoulder. You are the one that appears to have something to prove. If so then you bring YOUR bike HERE to Oklahoma and lets see what you can do against my Busa in 100+ degrees. Yesterday it was 113 degrees here (high temp for the US) and my Busa never broke a sweat. As Busa owners we have nothing to prove - it has already been done. Old ZX-11's just don't really interest us too much. If you are going to issue challenges to us you will need to get off your ass and bring your bike here as you aren't worth the time or effort for us to go to much trouble for. Sounds like you have already tried to stir up sh*t with the blackbird guys and now you are here doing the same. I suspect you must be looking for self respect or some way to prove yourself rather than add to anything constructive or learn the true facts about the Hayabusa and what owners are doing. I also doubt you will heed anyone's advise but rather will continue to beat your chest and issue challenges to the world in a vain attempt to garner respect for old ZX-11's and yourself.

I am still in support of you, Jamie... I completely agree, and will "back" you even though it'll cause everyone to pull out their flamethrowers...

Problem is this... When the almighty ZX-12 finally does debut, most of these guys will sell their Busas and go buy one of those, and stand on the new standard and tell everyone how all other bikes are just "meals for their Zx-12's," just like they do now for their Busas. They were probably the same guys from last year with their R1s and the year before with their XXs. Remember those guys? I think it's the same people.

The real question that should be posed here is, where does this insane ride stop? What do you buy and keep? What bike is "worth it?"

Obviously you feel that way about your ZX, and I can completely understand why. I too have a ZX-11, as well as a couple of others. My last purchase was a BMW k1200rs, which is 101 hp at the wheel and over 600 lbs, but absolutely gorgeous to ride. The purchase before that was a VFR, which is slow by dragbike standards, but which is an incredible ride when riding the mountains of northern Arizona. Hey, if these guys want to think that there is nothing around that is as good as a Busa, that's fine. Let them think that. They are only fooling themselves and costing themselves the wonderful experiences that come on the 9th day of touring with a Gold Wing, the scrape of a peg at Laguna on a good track bike, or the pride from admiring eyes when you pull up on that all-red VFR. Not to mention the pride of winning "best of show" for your antique Vincent.

Let them all think what they want... They are gonna anyway. Yes, it's silly that they block out all others, but don't worry... Next year they will block out the 'Busa for something else, and the year after that they will do the same. Sooner or later, they will realize that ALL the bikes they have been riding were nice, and that they can and should pick favorites based on more information than "4/10ths of a second" anyway. (Or better yet, that this whole time they could have bettered their reaction times for more time savings than that.)

Todd, thank you very much, and damn well said.

Jamie...air filters not out yet huh....!!!
wake up, dude. The "lot's of people" i have posted about, todd already took care of that one for me, thanks again todd, again well said.

Jamie, sorry about your hot wheels, and your cheerio's and coffee being pissed in, thems the breaks.
Tommy

Jamie, go to the doctors at Baylor in Dallas as fast as you can on your Wild ZX11, but hurry we have already lost one who could not get there in time. :(

Take the Viagra out of the PEZ dispensor and look in the couch for your toys.

Please hurry to Baylor we wouldn't want to lose you the "omnipotent one".

I hope we don't need U.N. peacekeepers brought in!

Josie, sorry but i have to disagree with you on one point, it's not his point of view we don't like or agree with, it's how he comes across.Hell, everyone has a different point of view and we all respect that.

Jamie just has a way of wording things that puts people on the defensive, and most often pisses them off.Like i have said in past posts, you can voice word your opinion in a way that gets the point across, but doesn't piss anyone off.

the zx-12, or 12r whichever it will eventually be, might just be faster than the busa, then again with suzuki upping the ante, who the hell knows??? We will have to WAIT AND SEEE!!!

Now i will admit this, IF the 12 is faster some of the guys might get rid of the busa and get the 12,of course these are the same guy's that switched from whatever they rode before, hell some might buy both, but not ALL.Some are suzuki fans all the way, and won't switch, and you can't blame the these guy's for braggin on the busa, for once the speed king crown is on suzuki's head for a change.
Not a one person on this board has said that the busa is the one and only bike to have, and i think everyone would agree that there's a bike for just about every venue out there. The busa just happens to be top speed king at the moment, that's all.

Now see josie, i didn't flame ya.but someone else might
Tommy

hehhehehh I thought it was just me! I guess some of us need to invent new friends to help ourselves feel better and make it look as if some one would be listening to them.

hehehehe :) LOL

OK, everyone especially Earl, I've just reread my posts I haven't said anything negative about the Busa. So....(add your own vulgarity here)!!!!

I did however bash snobby GSX1300 owners.

I come across in a bad tone because I'm so friggin' tired of the GOD mentality of the majority of the people posting here. I can understand the loyalty you have to your own bike but why deny anything else? I come here hoping to see someone with forward thoughts making advances in hp development. But all I see is flaming and snobbing.

Turbo 1300,
There's some major advancement there. That's what I come here looking for. Who makes this 50 horse power air filter? Sell your stock in KnN everybody because it's going under. Hopefully you've done more than just the filter, you better not be claiming that power with a pipe, filter and a map. If so your lack of modification experience is showing. 200hp? Maybe at the crank.

Todd,
Yep seen Dragbike's, seen Rodan (hard-core, I like, a lot), heard of Frank's. That's 3 right?

Gixerbike1,
Hey man, sorry, if I had a Busa or was doing one for someone, I guess I'd have known the exact minute it came out, like you. Been busy with my own 1298.

Earl,
Have you seen "A Night At The Roxbury"? Remember the seen where the brothers dis-ed their dad for about a solid minute? Pusss, Tsss, Ffffft, huhhh, etc., to you Earl.
Stupid movie with funny scenes. 'Member what I said earlier about Pee Wee Herman? Rrriiiiight.

Alabama why not Panama?

VegasDude,
Gawd, what's with the HeHe HarHars. I could easily Pee Wee Herman you right back but I'd be lowering myself to your level. And that's really low.

Jose,
I must admit, I thought you were here to promote your porno sites. I do strongly doubt though that you're a woman. You write with intelligence and about bikes so it could go either way. Anyhow thanks for an unbiased response it's extremely rare and refreshing. You should know though that Vegas Dude wants in your pants no matter what gender you are. HEHE HAR HAR GOOD BUDDY. Thanks again.

To all,
I went to my local multibrand cycle dealer today before work to get a tire mounted. While I was waiting I struck up a conversation with one of the guys who works there. I know him by seeing him but I don't know his name. I'll run into him at a bar here or there and we'll talk bikes. He's familiar with my bike and it's performance. I asked him if they'd had any Busas on their dyno yet and he said yes. First he mocked one of the Busa owners for not running his bike at an Open house they'd had. The reason the guy gave for not running? He needed to change his oil. Then he roared out of the parking lot. What'd he think the difference was? Second story he had was of a guy who put a pipe on his Busa. Said the dyno guy was impressed with the new throttle response and output. When I pressed him for a number he didn't want to guestimate. (At this point I've added more tuning information than the majority of you people) I asked the Busa owner's name so I could hook up with him to compare (race). The employee totally unprompted by me said, "He wouldn't race you, you know who buys those bikes? Dickheads. The guys who have to own the fastest bike each year. They can't use it, they just want to have it." (I swear to God this is all true) Then a second employee who'd been eavesdropping chimed in. He said they've already had to replace the plastic on one of these guys bikes because the owner dropped it at a stop sign. The first thought that popped into my head, "these guys are all alike!" The more the guy I know talked, the more I thought he was actually referring to the guys at this site. I interrupted him to ask if he was and he said he hadn't been here yet. You guys ARE all alike, and you deserve each other. Flame me all you want. You are wasting your energy on it and not advancing because of it.
I'm outta here,
Jamie ZX1206@aol.com

Jamie, I am impressed with your final post and I hope everything works out for you at Baylor Hospital.

I am glad you were able to get your bike to the bar for a drink and meet new friends. People who drink and ride bikes to bars often leave faster than they arrived, "Liquid Courage".

You could have made some here but your attitude sucked.
