I also agree with a PM being sent; of course if you ban the individual there wouldn't be a need
This is just my personal view and you may or may not agree with me.
i don't agree
A few days ago I posted some pictures in the random pictures thread. They have been promptly taken down within 2 days of posting. The pictures are of my work with professional models.
so says larry flint, hugh hefner and several other high end scumbags that prosper off of the sex industry
My company is the sponsor for the largest pageant in the world, the Hooters International Swimsuit pageant.
wow...every daddys dream
These pictures are used on my website and printed marketing material (tv/magazine commercials).
which is why the good lords of the cable world invented "parental controls"
The pictures are that of girls shot in competition bikinis, they have also been posted to numerous other car/bike forums I belong to without problems.
welcome to "other forums"
None of the shots I took contain any nudity or lscivious behavior, so I find it interesting that while it is permissible by the mods to allow pictures displaying animals engaging in sexual acts and laugh about it but removing tasteful shots that are acceptable to be distributed to the general public.
yeah...every now and then we gotta put a foot up some jackazz...please pardon us for laughing when it happens
So if I posted a picture of a painting of DaVinci that contained "nudity" that is displayed in art museums around the world would it be removed, because you would label it "inappropiate"?
Pssst...listen closely...You ain't Davinci
Would you lable the SI swimsuit issue an "adult" magazine?
Yep.
Do you blind fold your child's eyes on the beach?
depends...are you there?
Am I the only person that feels the big brother behavior of this particular forum is overkill?
Soundman!...que "The Crickets"
First off, the action of shooting a bird at someone in public is actually illegal in most states, whether officers of the law choose to enforce is a whole other matter, so yes it is offensive. Yet this does not stop people from posting pictures of such action.
Second, there is no law anywhere in the U.S. against wearing a swimsuit in public (by public, it means people of ALL ages). Before you jump, I did not say it would be appropriet anywhere and regardless of the circumstance (but that can be said of all kinds of attire). It maybe frown upon but NOT illegal. You are making an assumption that as soon a tastefull picture of a girl in a swimsuit appears on the forum that it would degrade to filth by members of this board. What does that say about the quality of the members of this board, what does it say about your view of the members of this board.
In you selection of what is appropriat and what is not, you choose to allow something that is actually against the law to be displayed for the amusement of the members. But not something that is publically acceptable.
As I said, I can not agree with your general assumption of what you believe may happen as a result of posting certain images. I will not post any of my photos now or in the future. Those of you who are interested in seeing them can find them in Hooter's magazine/calendar, ESPN's The Best Damn Sports show, Cosmo.
sorry...felt a lil tongue in cheek action.
hey ..if i had my own forum, i would have (SMACK HOUSE THREAD) for everyone to say or show what they please!
I would not dignify with a response to your comments, but people like you certainly highlights the kind of members all the mods and admins are talking about.
wonderful...yet another smut peddler that stakes claim to the high road..
Dude....this may not be the place for you. It is Cap's way or no way. You may think it is unfair, but that's the way it is.You may want to keep your personal attacks and insults to yourself. Somehow I don't believe that is acceptable behavior on this forum. I have seen your posts and comments, I'm not impressed, nor would I stoop to your level to start an argument.

I think the main idea of this forum that the OP is missing is that this is NOT an "open" forum. It is a PRIVATELY OWNED site that is managed by the rules the OWNER has put in place.
If you don't like the rules you are free to find another website that has rules that are more suited to your style.
Not only "unprofessional" but it may just end up getting your ars canned for sexual harassment. A lot of companies these days have zero tolerance for sexual harassment of any kind. I wouldn't want to be out looking for a job because of some picture that flashed on my screen for a split second at work. A lot of people at my work browse public sites but I stick to what's safe....work email and the company intranet. It seems that anything you wouldn't want popping up on your screen at work is removed. I don't know about where you work, but at most places if someone sees you looking at pictures of women in bikinis at work, it would be deemed unprofessional.
Just lighten up.
