# 1. I take it you think everything you posted is gospel... right? I don't see any links that can be verified through other sources... all I see are assertions without up to date numbers.

# 2. Trends put into action take time to reverse when it comes to trade between countries. Obama let the military go down in so far as maintaining it. The DOD represents a large part of our budget every year. If we let our country become weaker from a military standpoint does that embolden our enemies? If we don't maintain our previous levels do we run a higher risk of being attacked? What would you do if you were president and the military was the weakest it has been in a long time?

You don't recall how upset president Trump was when presented with the first congressional budget that he had to decide whether to sign or not... do you?

#3. Wages haven't gone up... hmmm.. somebody is lying... who is it? Mine went up nicely, but, that doesn't prove anything... right?

#4. Board members do what is best for them... should it be a law where corporations can't buy back stock unless they spend X % on other business building infrastructure? I smell fascism...

#5 Show us the law president Trump could enforce that would make it illegal for corporations to offshore their labor? The Swamp extends to the business world too... they say and do things with little or no intention of seeing it through.

#7. The Swamp is vast... I will keep it simple... think about this for a moment. If you are a government worker you want big government... yes, no ? A shrinking government threatens those that are employed by government... so... Why would a government worker obstruct the process of shrinking the government through any means available? Is it not human nature to at least survive.... let alone prosper... like when Congress votes on giving itself a raise which they have done repeatedly. ???

2 prime examples... Ukraine... and the Bank of China... both are pay to play deals. This isn't the first time that Joe is on the record with shady financial dealings... his family got rich off government contracts.

Joe admitted decades ago he would "prostitute" himself to make deals that benefit the highest bidder. Its on video and I have watched it... he openly bragged about it on camera. Some people grow and evolve as they take on more responsibility... so far all I have seen Joe do is find deals where he can enrich himself as tax payer expense. Name two bills that are still in effect today that Joe played a key role in passing and is still on the books today. You can't because it never happened... 47 years and never did much except political graft... and that is who some people want as our president... amazing! amazingly stupid that is.

I don't see military might as a top priority with the state of the Social Security fund. Biden's tax plan is only a stopgap and not a good one. SS is not a welfare program, it's money paid in by earners. It's THEIR money. One flaw is that everyone doesn't pay the same percentage. SS payments are only figured on the first $132,000 of earnings, so people making more than that pay a smaller percentage. Also, workers through their endeavors are not paying as much in recent years, but that is not the fault of people that paid; it's on the government, Congress, to fix it as they should have seen this coming. As far as corporations and offshore labor, a law forbidding it? Is that from a small government conservative? There's plenty of room between Trump's letting corporations have their way tax wise and Biden's plan. Hopefully a compromise is found. Meanwhile it's on us, consumers, to stop trying to save $50 a month buying groceries at Walmart. I've been shopping at small markets for years but it's getting hard because they're disappearing.
 
President Trump released a videotaped 46-minute address from the White House Wednesday that he said “may be the most important speech I’ve ever made.” What followed, however, was a litany of unsubstantiated claims about the November election he lost to Joe Biden that the president had already been making for weeks.

Trump said he was providing “an update” on his campaign’s efforts to “expose the tremendous voter fraud” that he claims cost him the election. Trump and his lawyers have unsuccessfully tried to persuade judges in the battleground states of Pennsylvania, Georgia, Arizona, Nevada, Wisconsin and Michigan to stop the process of certifying the ballot counts.

Biden won in all those states, and is on track to win the Electoral College by a margin of 306 to 232.

Contradicting the head of the U.S. cybersecurity agency, Christopher Krebs, who was appointed, and subsequently fired, by Trump, the president said the electoral system was under “coordinated assault and siege.” The president then noted something true: that election experts had predicted that final results would take days or even weeks to verify, due to an unprecedented number of mail-in ballots. Republican legislatures in Pennsylvania and elsewhere would not permit poll workers to begin tabulating early and mail-in votes until Election Day.

“For months, leading up to the presidential election, we were warned that we should not declare a premature victory,” Trump said. “We were told repeatedly that it would take weeks if not months to determine the winner to count the absentee ballots and to verify the returns.” Trump treated this as support for his claims that the election remains undecided, but states are moving ahead on their own schedules to appoint representatives to the Electoral College, which votes on Dec. 14. State officials, from both parties, have insisted that their elections were honest and the results accurate.

Trump then claimed, with no evidence, that Biden had been tipped off by election officials not to bother campaigning because Democrats would corruptly deliver the election to him.

“In fact, they were already acting like they knew what the outcome was going to be,” Trump said.
Biden held a comfortable lead in the polls throughout the campaign, and made almost no campaign appearances to avoid events that could spread the coronavirus.

Moments after the speech’s release on Facebook and Twitter, the two social media companies flagged the video. Facebook noted that Biden had been declared the winner of the election, while Twitter warned users that the fraud claims Trump made in the video were “disputed.”

Since Biden was declared president-elect, Trump’s social media posts have been repeatedly flagged, a fact that hasn’t stopped him from making them. Central to his argument that he was “robbed” is his apparent belief that while voter fraud was not new, especially in cities like Philadelphia and Detroit, this year it skyrocketed due to the increase in mail-in voting.

“This colossal expansion of mail-in voting opened the floodgates to massive fraud,” he claimed.

Although all the key swing states where Trump claims victory have certified their results in favor of Biden, the president continued to insist that he would somehow come up with enough votes to overturn those results. Of Wisconsin, for instance, he said: “We will have far more, many times more, than the 20,000 votes needed to overturn the state.”

Trump’s campaign has already paid $3 million for a partial recount in Wisconsin. The results increased Biden’s lead there.

Throughout his presentation, Trump made claims that his lawyers haven’t dared to bring up before a judge. The president even went so far as to take aim at the judges who have ruled against him in 40 of the 41 cases his legal team and his allies have brought forward so far.

“We already have the proof. We already have the evidence, and it’s very clear,” he said. “Many people in the media and even judges so far have refused to accept it. They know it’s true. They know it’s there. They know who won the election, but they refuse to say, ‘You’re right.’”

Some of the most definitive decisions against Trump were handed down by Republican judges, including some he himself had appointed.

It really is simply to boil down the basics of what the leftist stand for and what the conservatives stand for. ( Yes, they do agree occasionally ) All you have to do evaluate is who aligns with what's is written in the Constitution and Bill of rights. It doesn't end there, however its a good place to start.

So... stop pigeon holing me... I simply call them like I see them. To borrow a line from president Reagan.

Their is no left or right... only up or down. Do you want a socialist country? Then support Biden. After 25 plus countries have failed when experimenting with socialism in a number of decades past. Perhaps on the 26th attempt we can get it right with a political system that spends 85% of the time in grid lock over policies. Fat chance of that happening when you consider socialism is just another way of saying slavery for all.

If you seriously deny there has been rampant, systematic social injustice in this country for decades I can not answer this for you. The only way to bring the importance of making a change is through protests. It began with Kaepernick showing enough courage to actually kneel during the national anthem which he said several times was not a knock on our country but on an accepted behavior that had to stop.

As a former soldier, anyone who kneels during the playing of a national anthem-regardless of who's it is, gets my dander up......as a highly paid sports athlete, he had several other venues he could have explored before doing that. I even get cranky if someone is talking or worse laughing during the playing of a national anthem.....

I agree with everything else though...
 
Bee I understand your point completely. I acknowledge that any other method would not have received nearly as much attention, which was/is his desperate intention. I was irked by his kneeling at first as well until I realized how much courage it took, how important that was to him. It’s such a passionate, heart wrenching issue.
