Not sure on that. I know for sure the rear rims are a different size being the 750 runs a 5.5 and the 1000 a 6", but not sure if they are interchangable.
EDIT: found a thread on the gixxer forums through google. Front rim, Yes. Rear rim, No.

This one was shot by a rider following me in Intermediate, I almost never get myself on video - and my BP still sux...I checked up a little and he passed me, then I followed him awhile and passed, then would check up and let me pass him again about 3-4 times. At the end of the session, I pulled up beside him to congratulate him (those were good times for I) and he said "Where have YOU been all weekend?"
I told him that IMHO he was ready for A (and also told the lead instructor same) so we may see him in Advanced next time.

This vid is from late Saturday in A. Jay passed me at about the 10:50 mark, and I almost immediately lose him in traffic. I spend the rest of the vid chasing this guy on a 'tard'...after closing on him several times and seeing where I had speed on him, I finally pass him just to see if I can keep it (I did).

It's time for the LAST Barber event of the season!!! Unfortunately, it's nowhere near the SMACKTALKAPALOOZA from 2 years ago.. Just Charlie and I... Chris, I take it you couldn't find any spots?
I'm still gonna go lay the smackdown on that track! Got a newly rebuilt rear shock and refreshed steering damper to help me with those power wheelies out of 5
Keith, since you get text messages now, I'll be sure to send you a pic of my laptimer! Or better yet, post it to FB and tag you so everyone can see!
It won't be the same without all the regulars there, but we'll make sure it's a blast!

What an awesome weekend!! I only rode on Saturday, but that was plenty!! The weather COULD NOT have been better and it make for some awesome track time. I did get to end my season at Barber with a new PB by dropping 1.1 seconds down to a 1:37.8!! I was stoked!
The STT instructor who was following me that session got it all on video too. Can't wait to see it! Keith, I hate you couldn't make it, but i'm sure you were having your own blast hunting with your daughter.

I'm trying to Plan on COTA with Nate Kern. My plan is to do Roebling in June with Nate and leave my bike with him, to haul to Cota. Fly down and ride with SMARTRIDE trackday. I'll keep you posted if this works out.
Let me know when you do COTA!
I have bought spots two years in a row and sold last minute to do other trips.
