So how's the Team Gixxer track day schedule looking for the rest of this season? Any more dates planned?
 
Just got a set of Q2s from Chapperall for $255 to my door. The busa is needing some new shoes soon. By the way Jay good review! I was looking at the Bridgestones as an option. How did you like the Brembo M/C?

The Brembo was AWESOME!!!!! without a doubt worth every penny. It was 95+ degrees this weekend so I still did experience some VERY SLIGHT brake fade but it was ONLY the lever pull. It would still stopa train. And still LEAPS AND BOUNDS over stock!!

Daniel, We don't have anymore dates set in stone yet. There are only 3 more STT events at Barber this year on Sept 8th and 9th, Sept 29th and 30th and then on October 20th and 21st. I am sure all three of us will be to at LEAST 1 of those events.

The bridgestone held up great and are definately a great tire (considering I have never even run a bridgestone before), but to me they just aren't the Q2. Maybe it's that I have more experience with the Q2.

But at only $223 a set. I am positive I will buy another set

Awesome Jay! When I rode as fast as I could in A group it was around 102F, and I did have a little lever fade too. What I did was a click the lever out 1 to 2 clicks more then when I started cold. This kept the power of the brakes and gave me a bit more lever to play with near the end of a 25 minute outting. Hope this helps! I am glad your are happy with this mod!

Keith and Charlie may make all three of those events. I; however, might not be so lucky. I may be able to do two of them but i'm not sure. It just too far in advance right now to be able to know who all can make it.
 
I've already paid for October...and if you really want a slot, you had better do it NOW - October goes EARLY!!!!
 
oh, yea, I'm doing September, just haven't paid for yet *but will soon*

It's the July/aug timeframe Im unsure of right now

Ok it's setlled then. Since I would prefer to do tracktime with other folks I enjoy being around, I am going to skip the X-act event at the end of June and will do one of the September events and the October event :thumbsup:

Oh, and I am assuming you will be running in "A" at these events now?

Yes you assume correctly. I'm still trying to work out June also but I understand your need to pick and choose. Besides, that gives me more time to practice so I can try and keep up with you and Charlie

I highly doubt you need the extra practice, Keith.
 
Do you guys think 1:48-1:50 times are ok for A-group with STT. I was Gonna try an make it out there again in sept.
