Need to switch over to water wetter, address drain plug and oil filter (safety wire), getting race tires at the track. taking lights off night before leaving on the 28th. Not much to do really, I only ask that no one broadsides me this time!!!!

Also, anyone interested in sharing lodging expense, let me know, I have already reserved lodging at Days Inn, Leeds Sept 28th and 29th.

Tom, for intermediate, you can just use some RVT silicone for the drain plug and filter.... That way you dont have to do any drilling on that pretty machine of yours :beerchug:

And you are gonna run race tires? Why not just some Q2's???

Hey, thanks for the info on the drain plug and filter. Gonna see what goodies they have to offer as far as tires, when I get to the track! Q2's would work fine though!

If they are a dunlop sponsor try the gpa211s medium(I currently run earmers with these) are you running warmers?
if they are bridgestome sponsor run the BT003Race tires-medium compound -I did not run warmers with these.(NOT bt003rs- all tho these would probably be okay to)
Or Any slicks from either manufacturer if running warmers.

Will run warmers! So many choices!!! What a horrible situation!

STT is the Michelin man through and through...Power Cups are their race tire of choice.

Charlie have you tried these? Do you have an opinion on them?

Are the track day providers down there so desperate for cash that they actually let you guys out in the advanced group or is it there's just no fast guys left in the south since the Hayden boys left for greener pastures?

Oh, maybe it's because everyone in the advanced group are on those "I'll take you all the way to the scene of the crash" michelins?

Can we at least see the Traxxion stickers on the front forks!? Geez give us a teaser Man!!!

Finally finished up my major upgrades. She is a track weapon now. Brembo master cylinder, Scott's steering stabilizer, Penske rear shock, and Traxxion Dynamics AK-20 fork kit (look real close for the yellow letter )

Sweeeeet! Score on the Mods! You are gonna love the sweet squeeze of that Brembo!

Jay that is AWEFULLY Purty...too bad it's still not that fast :moon:

Tom, I'd highly recommend you ride a set of Q2's. Much less than a GPA and you have a choice of using warmers or not (I do, Charlie doesn't and he's full tilt boogie about halfway thru the first lap). They will hold I have full faith in them until you get under 1:40. And, you want to come to the track READY TO RIDE, the adage "do not wrench on your bike on race day" is a true statement (Charlie will tell you why I say this) :banghead:

And yes, if you already have a reservation I do need someone to bunk with (or did I snore too loud for you to ever take me back?)

You do have reservations for twins not a king, right? ???

Well, Team Gixxer (-), i.e. ME, will be at Road Hotlanta this weekend, spending major $$ to get Jason Disalvo to teach me how to thoroughly :spank: all you boiches and you will have to bow down and :kissass:because I am :grim: and will be so :smile_face_r:

Won't be nearly as much fun as it would be with my TEAM GIXXER buds!

You hard headed old man  You sound like one of those Harley guys who thinks their Harley can outrun your Busa :moon:

I don't think I've ever been called an "old man" before.....no, I don't like it one bit :)
