To raise or lower?

I have a 2005 Busa and want to change the height of the bike, but I don't know what effect each will have on the bike. Can anyone offer me any advice, please? Thank you.

What's the reason for changing the height? Is it a height issue, a look issue? Changing the height of the front will affect your riding position, help keep the front end down when racing (if lowered), reduce cornering ability (if lowered), and changes appearance. Adjusting the rear will change the appearance and gives less clearance between undertail and tire (if lowered). I'm sure others will chime in with some other things.

It sounds like you are saying to keep it stock for all around riding. Just from stuff I've read, some have lowered thier bikes. I guess I was just looking to change. Some for looks and maybe performance. Thanks for your imput. For now it will be stock, I dont really want to change the way my bike handles unless it is for the better!

I put the rear raising links on mine and absolutely love it. The bike feels more nimble and seems to steer, or change direction, more easily. The slight amount of extra ground clearance is a plus in the twisties as well. Besides all that, it gives the bike a sportier, more sportbike- like look. It is by far my favorite mod so far.

I'm not going to be dragging my bike and love the twisty stuff, so raising the bike one inch will be a mod I do. Red05 said it right.

I adjusted the front a little stiffer ( a bit more preload), but that's it. The extra tension reduces sag a little bit, so the ride height could be a touch higher. The bike feels so good it's tough to decide between "if a little is good, is more better?" and "if it works, don't fix it"......
