Top Speed!?!?

At 60 mph its not really far off. Maybe 1 or 2 mph. But that margin gets larger and larger the faster you go.

Mines off 10% at all speeds. Reads faster, so at 60 on the speedo the actual is 54. At 100 on the speedo the actual is 90. GPS explained why 55 feels so slow on the Busa. Not even doing 50. Do 5 over the limit at any speed and your still pretty safe.

Because I respect the bike and it scared the hell out of me, I personally have only been 165 on my bike and I said I will go a lil slower.

Thats insane! Have you changed your tire profile or something? Mines only of around 2%...and yes, thats gps verified as well.

6K!! no way... not just to pass 200mph... just buy the stock busa and put a turbo on it, change the gearing, and it will go over 200mph right?? £6,000 ontop ofwhat the bike was in the 1st place should be over the 215mph mark...

You dont have to change the gearing to reach 200. The stock gearing on the gen1 has a theoretical top speed of around 204mph at the factory set rev limit. Of course it doesnt have the power to reach that stock.

My speedo was off 11%...but that was with a 43 rear sprocket.
I hit 185 with my speedohealer and that felt about the top with me at 235lbs.

This was on a Gen I. The Gen II fairs far better from the factory. They don't give those stage 1 turbos away either. Got-Busa and a few others have done very well with minor mods in the standing mile with the Gen II.

Once you obtain enough RWHP and torque you'll definitely need a gearing change.

My little video (it was not a maximum acceleration )

- Hayabusa 2008, camera test upper 280 km/hour[/url]

Does the camera do those wave effects all by itself, or just when it gets a little scared~?~

My camera only has a factory warranty up to 150mph~!~

"Wave effect" is only from 200 to 220 km/hour, when camera stand shivering is in resonance with the camera sample rate . I made camera stand in my garage and my camera is very simple . It was only once when I use it and made video in memory of.

Here is it :

i keep hearing about speedohealer...

does this make it as accerate as the gps is???

and can u send me a link so i can buy 1 :)

Thanks

Missing something... bikes will run different speed on different days. Atomsphere matters on ringing out the highest speeds. Hot, cold, humidity, wind - even a little can help or hurt... road surface, tires and tire pressure matters too. Since were only talking the difference of a few MPH on the top end just thought I throw this out.

There is a theoretical limit of speed associated with max rpm, gearing and tire size that you just can't exceed. I don't have the time or the inclination to figure this out, however it would be a cool little program for some math genuis to figure all the variables for a theorical speed limit calcuator. Just like long range shooters use ballistic trajectory programs to enter variables(bullet weight, powder, coeffiecnt of drag, muszzle velocity etc.) to find out bullet drop and distance.

something like this?

dang it! theres that red x again!
