I didn't remove any of my balls, but instead just repositioned the arm to make it tighter, but not so tight the throttle doesn't close fully. It definitely made a noticeable differnce with how quickly the cruise engaged!! When I first installed it on my 07, another Busa rider that had one told me to expect a delay and a MPH drop when I set the speed, so I always thought it was normal! Maybe his had too much slack too! Thanks guys!!
