Bot much to comment on....nobody on this forum (that I know of) runs a supercharged Hayabusa...quite a different beast from a turbo bike.No opinions?

And all of you that I don’t know.
I dont have alot of good things to say... what the hell kinda "testing" is this? Richard needs to get serious and put a jockey on that bike and give it hell and run some real numbers at a real drag strip and MAYBE some full mile pulls, AND keep track of air intake temps during this process. Its getting to be a joke., Other knowledgeable people are just too polite to say anything. No opinions?

This same supercharger system is used on a lot of other bikes too so other than tweaks on the gen 3 platform, it should be good to go.People need to be Respectful of what this is...a Supercharged bike.
This is Not a Turbo bike.
They are both boosted...end of similarities.
It is being marketed for what it is, a huge gain over stock, with a very Linear power curve.
This bike does Not need an unfair apples to oranges turbo comparison.
If you like your turbo, and it makes more power than this sc...fantastic...it's great that you own a turbo then.
This sc is an updated design, and on a fairly new bike. The hold up has been well known to be the ecu, which was only cracked about 4 months ago.
How about appreciating the time, effort, and know-how that went into this thing, and be grateful for the shot in the arm it's given the gen3.
Not everyone does high speed roll racing or top speed runs(cool as that is).
And as soon as the road turns right or left...none of those bikes are catching me on on a stock bike. So, I'de love to bump up the power of a daily rider, stock wheelbase gen3.
I hate to be the guy without a dog in the fight, as I don't own a gen3 right now(if I do it'll get supercharged), but to say "it's getting to be a joke", and in the man's own thread...that's BS.

Other than the swingarm, I like what TTS has done to the gen 3 bike.
Sums it up beautifully. Thanks six for some clarity and calm headedness.People need to be Respectful of what this is...a Supercharged bike.

I think that may have been the thinking behind Dodge’s supercharged Busa that was built for the world wheelie comps. Control at high speed up on one wheel is vital. It did well but it never beat the turbo Busa’s. Modern turbo systems and fuelling is very good, personally I’m not convinced that’s a huge selling point for the supercharger.Comparison:
1. The supercharger delivers more usable power. - check.
TTS made a statement that the single sided swing arm had more stability - i don't see that personallyI do too, and I'm not a fan of single sided swingarms either.
If, if, 2023 Busas don't have 2022 gremlins, or stupid pricing, then I still want one...and I could definately see supercharging it.
sometimes the plain old truth just................ is the truth. NO MATTER whos thread it is. nothing i said was untrue. People benefit by having allllll sides of the story. now its been said. im done with this subject forever.People need to be Respectful of what this is...a Supercharged bike.
