I guess they're working together or one thru the other...

Before I list my preferences I want to make sure everyone (especially the Eastern contingent) realizes that Miller is in the middle of a desert and surrounded by HIGH mountains. August/September is NOT an option. Early fall is also windy and there are dust/dirt issues on that track. Soooooo......

Full track/multiple days
May or June (it will NOT rain)
Trailer your machines and get a decent hotel.
Be sure to race prep and test BEFORE you roll it into the trailer. That includes your tow vehicle. The desert is the LAST place you want to find out your coolant is old.
Take your tools and spares.

If it turns out to be a "West Coast" thing and you want to go in the summer then Sears Point/Infineon is the bomb. Dry weather on the cool SF bay (70-80's) and the most technical track available ANYWHERE. I'm scheduled for a minimum of 2 days there already so why don't you guys plan on joining me no matter what?

But seriously, you make a good point for those that may not want to ride in the 80s.

That's just warm to me, but maybe thats too hot for others...

(newmill @ Nov. 28 2006,22:35) Did I mention that weather in the deep desert is ..uhhhhhh....variable

When is weather a constant

Are you some kinda weather observer or something??...

Did you grow up in Utah or something??...

Time to stop with the negative vibes. Positive thinking... positive thinking...

Just about any time is as good as another for me.

Hot, cold, bring it on.

I should mention, I'm a beginner, never been on a track before.

The only limiting factor will be $$$$.
