$430 for 2 days
$100 2 nights in a hotel, maybe less if we share rooms.
620 miles from Albuquerque to SLC. truck mpg 27 = 46 gallons roundtrip. $2.20 a gallon = $101.20. bike mpg 39 = 32 gallons roundtrip. $2.20 a gallon = $70.40. Add another 15 gallons for 2 days running on the track = $33.

Sooo;
$664.20 trailering up $73.80 a month.
$633.40 riding up $70.38 a month.

You can do it!!!

WWJD just PM'd me and said Aug-Oct works for him as well.

Since September's averages are the most comfortable temps both high and low, lets plan for September.

What days in September aren't possible for you guys.  Sep 3rd Labor Day??       etc....

up are gonna do a day in April/May  

...plus don't forget the Vegas trip 4/13-4/15

The M&G is in September. Unless the M&G and trackday are going to be combined, we should try to make sure they are on different weekends. But combining the events sounds like a good idea to me. Those that don't want to pay for track time can go on a ride and see UT.

What is the MNG's dates?

I haven't been paying attention  

 

Which dates in Sep will depend on the trackday organizers.  Right now the best choice, because they run the FULL track on one of the days, is 9/2 and 9/3.  But if someone can't do Labor Day we might go with 9/22 and 9/23, but they aren't running the FULL track.

We also will have to book right away as soon as we pick our date, because they can and will sell out very fast.  I'm just waiting to see what the other organizers are doing for Miller.

Rich and I are thinking of Buttonwillow in April/May. Awsome track, only costs $130 a day, and its close. Just west of Bakersfield.
