Installed my spools (bobbins) and the rear grab rail along with O9's pretty red levers. Buell pegs tomorrow final fitting of the tank and seat bag tomorrow as well
Leaving Tuesday for a run around lake Superior Lake Michigan Huron St Claire and if there is time Lake Erie Never been to Wisconsin Looking forward to trying the Cheese. Should have decide on the method of Bar risers earlier but whacha gonna do.

Has anyone got a full bracket setup sitting around on a unused Gen 2 tank ? A bit of a long shot I guess .... I bet its the same length as the Gen 1 . I got 85mm length , 6mm bolt through the guts , see if that matches the Gen 1 spec.
@fallenarch may have his bracket off ready to put on new tank setup , hopefully he will see this and confirm .

So far not too bad. I have to do the wheels tommorow. That may be a thing since we've had some rain. I do wax it though and the paint is new. So it beads up and blows off pretty well. I've had more compliments on this one than any other bike. Most have no idea what it is. They just like the colours.
Checked out the insides of my sprocket cover, in particular the clutch slave cyl piston for gunge build up etc.
I’m going to put a new piston and seal kit in the clutch m/cyl and also a new cup and spring in the slave cylinder as well.
I’m also removing the bodywork and cleaning everything I can see!
We are coming into cold weather here now and it’s a good time to clean her up ready for some winter riding lmao!!
I’d really liketo get a braided clutch hose to replace the 20 year old rubber pen hose, anyone have one? What difference does it make to the feel of the clutch actuation?
Where would I get one from?

I got mine from venhill, who is the same company that manufactures the hoses for AS3.
I have not gotten to test it out but it prob yields the same benefits of the stainless steel brake lines. I had done a few Memorial runs and my clutch became mush after 2 miles of stop, stop go. Hoping this resolves that.

I think I'll look into getting a price from a local brakes specialist, they make up braided hoses for the trade.

Hi Kiwi Rider. Just find some aluminum AN #3 fittings, banjo bolts and AN # 3 braided line and make your own. That is what I do. I know you can do it.
Thanks Michael, here in NZ to be able to legally ride it on the roads, the brake hoses MUST have crimped end fittings, I don’t have a crimping tool, but I can get them made by a local company that does do the crimping of the banjo fittings to the hose.

Maybe soon I'll rip off the fairing and get at it.

I added the braided line with the Brembo RCS, but the difference is pretty amazing. Feels like my hand is right on the clutch springs. The friction point in the leer is stable too, with OEM that would change as the bike got hotter. Another thing is how easy the pull is. This is adjustable with the Brembo pump, but the pull is so light I actually hold the clutch while waiting at lights now. I expect the braided lines on the OEM mc would yield better feel.
