Wow that's pretty cool. Let us know what you think after trying it!

Had a play today.. The reason I got this was a few.. 1 to try to get a better understanding of the bikes suspension. And also to check the settings. Discovered that my forks need a service, 2013 and 38,000 k's so prob due. New springs and valving at the same time I reckon.

Anyways, Started of on the rear, and discovered with dual exhausts it's pain, so had to make a axle extension for the main unit to mount on. Once done, added the remote module to the handlebars..

It has an auto zero feature, whereby you set it to autozero mode and have a few seconds to get the bike set. It involves lifting the rear off the ground and letting the rear sag or extend under it's own weight. I just grabbed the rear and lifted the wheel off the ground and held it for a few seconds for it to take a read. You can also do the balance on the sidestand trick if you wish.

Once that's done, it gives you a free/static sag measurement. Then with the remote unit, you sit on the bike and the screen will show you the laden sag with rider in situ.
My rear static sag = 22mm and laden went to 33mm. Both are an average of a few goes. I'm happy with that measurement. I wanted to check as the bike seemd to be rear skipping a bit and a little hard (I'd had the suspension adj at the local shop for a road trip in Feb) - Discovered the compression on the rear was 2 clicks out.. That'll do it.. It's now back out to 7 and I'll go for a ride tomorrow and see how it feels.

The front is much the same.. Lift the front to unload the forks, zero out then jump on and see what the measuremnt is. My front unlaiden was 24mm and a laiden sag with me on was 31mm.
I can live with that. Then checked the comp/rebound and would the comp back out 1 click.

For a solo operator, (all my riding friends live miles away), I like it. It measured consistant and was easy to use. The remote screen is good as it allows you to see it when you're on the bike without needing to shift your weight around and screw up the readings.

And the front is basically the same...
Here's where you mount to the front fork..

The bike is filthy and needs a clean after last weekend..
Job for tomorrow..

Changed a blown hi beam headlight fuse... hope it is just a one time Random event. Definitely could have been easier to get too!View attachment 1619654

For some reason lots of things are a challenge to get to on this bike....darned coolant tank for one....

What would have been so difficult for Suzuki to put the fuses under the tail somewhere...??

Rainy day so im "retyreing".. New Pirelli Angels View attachment 1619617

Wifey compained about "strange smell" in the hallway... Luckily she did not open the door to the secondary bathroom...

A few hours on the heated floor do wonders, cold (8c outside)and stiff tyres are a PITA to fit. Heat them to 24+ and they pop right on.
Cleaned out the brakes while they were off using the "shoelace trick" using a lace to clean the pistons beat any other method i have tried so far.

Finally got around to milling the emblems and logo off the triple tree. Now it’s off with the rearsets to powder coating. Anyone know a good way to get those anti vibration bushings out of the rearsets without tearing them up?.

@Klutch556 Sure I have missed, but why get rid of the emblems? Just wanted something plain? Could you not find one without them?

I bought this one on a whim back when I first got the bike. I could have got a new one but I hate trying to trade an sell so I figured I’d just fix mine to what I like.
as for what I like... I like plain low profile stuff. Like before I left the dealership with my bike I had peeled all the decals off lol.

I actually noticed something today...the rear tail light mimics the head light with the same shape...

Other than that-went for a quick pre 38'C ride and gave it a good cleaning afterwards as I killed a lot of bugs.

Yes that is a cool styling cue, and the integrated rear signals mimic the front intakes. Also the side fairing has the shape of a falcon in dive position. They put some work into the styling back then!
