What Did You Do To Your Busa, Today?

I used to wear tires right to the ragged edge when I was superbike racing but those days are far behind me now...

I opt for staying in one piece these days....

The sad part is we have lots of great twisty roads around here but they suck...the corners are full of gravel and sand from cars going through them too fast for their capabilities, going into the edge spitting the sand and gravel across the road....

We have one road that would rival the tail of the dragon but it is so rough and bumpy and with sand and gravel on it that it's impossible to go even a little fast on it....

Just think MX...and more right wrist
lol

I washed it....it was pretty nasty.

Got the beastie all together but the torrential rains kept it in the garage...

It starts and runs perfectly though...

Before I took the Bazzaz off, it wasn't communicating with my laptop like it used to do before....this makes me believe there was a fault with it.

I will most likely send my ECU off this fall after riding season ends and get a map uploaded...the ECU has been flashed but no maps were changed as the Bazzaz took care of that.

As many as I've heard, and as many threads as you've started...you have more good 'peopl of walmart' stories than I've ever heard
lmao
 ! These days I just go to Walmart for the lowest priced rotella T6 in the area and I make sure to use the app and just do curbside pickup. Maybe deep down @Bumblebee only goes there in search of some action since his retirement life is pretty laid back and he needs some excitement.

Sounds like the issue I had with my PCV. Loaded my bike on a truck and drove 1200 miles to Long Island, NY to leave it with Frank while I spent time with family. Frank could not input/change tune on it and I had to replace it. I still have it, but I called customer service and they said they don’t sell or service this model anymore and all they offered me was an “upgrade” to a new model at discounted price. I told them thanks, but not thanks and will throw it in the trash. If my current one fails it will go in the trash too.

Bazzaz went out of business so it's trash now..

Normally I was able to load it up on my laptop to check the maps and other things but it wouldn't load up even though the blue lights were on the unit....I suspect something messed up with it...especially as Hayabusas are normally pretty bullet proof....

I think I’m done with aftermarket options and will go the ECU tune route next time. Only reason I left my current one on is because it’s working as of now and Frank did his magic on it. I see myself riding to Moore mafia if this one craps out on me too.

My paternal grand parents were from Long Island (Babylon) and their parents were from there as well...

They are long, long gone now as my paternal and maternal grandfathers died in the war.....

I'm going to send my ECU to him for a canned tune in the fall.....he does so many Hayabusas he has it down to a science now I figure...
