What Did You Do To Your Busa, Today?

Yep
I had too many bikes years ago(sad to say such a thing)
I have 2 now and keep a friend's, so really 3.
I'de really like a TL1000R, and a Grom, and it easily becomes too much to keep up with along with the rest of life's responsibilities.
I don't have to take kids to school in the summer, so I figure I could ride a different one to work every day, lol.
But, for now, I'll spend my other bike money modding the 2 that I have...
I feel that, I had way too many bikes at one point...it got so I wasn't enjoying them so I sold them all off except the Bumblebee...

I kind of/sort of miss a couple of them sometimes........

The TLs are pretty cool.....the owner of the local bike dealership had a yellow one when they were still a Suzuki dealership...he sold it and the new owner dropped it a wrecked it within a week of ownership......it was a beauty with Akro pipes and all the little goodies that a Suzuki dealership owner could put on it.....

I tried to load my Gen III on my trailer for a trip to AZ and after 1700 miles on the clock hill hold finally decided to engage while going up the ramp so not a comfortable feeling being halfway up the ramp and hill hold is making it difficult to get to the top of the ramp. Finally got there tho then discovered tying down the Busa using the lower triple tree wasn't going to be as easy as tying down my 2020 GSA. Ended up putting the Gen III back in the shed until I can order a Pit Bull Restraint system which is the best way for me to secure the bike especially since 99.9% of the time I'll be loading the bike solo. To top it off a day before I was supposed to leave for AZ I caught a cold and started coughing up blood so here I am in bed instead of on my way to AZ from PA. I guess its better to be sick and home then be sick and trying to drive cross country.

They come and go. I sold a Gen-1 and a H2 SX SE that I wasn’t really attached to. I think there’s 13 at the moment, 4 in regular use, another 4 runners that need a few jobs and some rolling frames and projects.

I doubt I’d sell anything at the moment, no real need, but I need to be more focused and concentrate on stuff not flit from one to another and hoard stuff from autojumbles.

I’ve had stuff in the past that I was super passionate about, a stupid Bandit 12 with a 60 shot wet NOS system, a stretched street drag 80’s big bore Kat etc, but I’m just not feeling it at the moment.

Im trying hard not to look at the RCC turbo kits.

This ^

Bikes got put on hold, I renovated a large old house in the city that consumed all my time and money, sold it, moved into a rental, bought 20 acres, built a new house and sheds, moved in, in total spent 2 years building, fencing, landscaping, building hens houses, getting a pup, then having multiple health and heart problems etc etc. It was a life change for the better but my bike life suffered.

I’m hoping a few longer rides or a trip to the drags will either relight my passion or make me decide where to focus.

I’ve never got on with the Hill Hold.

I’ve had a similar system on a couple of Toyota’s and it’s fine, you just don’t notice it. On my Gen-3 it’s very noticeable, it always feels like trying to pull away holding the rear brake and takes too much effort to release.

I turned mine off and don’t miss it.

I ended up turning mine off so I could back the bike back down the ramp without HH engaging. It's weird because I use the same ramp to get the bike out of my shed and while backing the bike out HH has never engaged and it's about the same incline as my trailer.

At least a day! Is it a good ride down the coast to Sydney? How bout west? Ever been to Cunnamulla?
I had an Aboriginal grader driver working for me for a while, nice bloke, but he’d only ever done haul roads so doing final trim work and road crowns was a bit of a challenge for him.
He swore that Cunnamulla was the centre of the universe !

We do have a trip planned out that way, wife has family in Charleville.

Shortest route to Sydney is about 900K’s, about 560 miles, so still a lot closer than family up North or down South. Wife works there occasionally but we normally fly down.

This docu style film really piqued my interest. Sure seemed like a desolate place to live. Had some quirky characters too. I’ve ridden the entire western coast hiway here and looking at your map it showed a coast road clear to Sydney.

I did a quick health check on the battery. The dash showed 12.1V, the multimeter said 12.6, I put it on the charger, it has ended 1 minute later, I repeated, then it has ended 5 secs later. Now the multimeter shows 13.1, so I guess the room temperature good for the battery health.

It was the first time when I have removed the seat, the nuts were extremely overtightened. It seems that they have been bent a bit, but I hope just the top of the head which is not perfectly smooth and in angle... I have noticed that the dirt built up between the plastic and the seat itself and made the plastic polished.
