What did you do to your Gen 3 today?

I washed it for like three hours; biggest PITA bike to detail. Then I took my sister for a little ride. Two milestones today: First butt to sit on the passenger seat and first time I ride the bike without the seat cowl. :D

Sad to hear but it happens and quite often...

They sure are a heavy 'ol water buffalo to get back on their feet though...

Mine has never been over but I can feel the weight and know if it does, I might just leave it lay there....
I was accompanied ashore too, but I had to wait for a good soul to help me straighten it

Less for the bike and more for me. The first full day I rode in jacket with a tethered airbag (Helite). The tether is convenient to install on the Busa and clipping in and out quickly becomes second nature, like in a car. Had a blast by the way, improved my lean angle by one percent each direction (now 40left and 41right, on the street).

I'm happy with the Busa as it is right now. Sometimes I'm envious of your speed/drag builds, but this sport touring setup works for me. Such a versatile bike.

Put a half tank through it playing with adjustment to quick shifter, auto blipper, cruise control, rolling launch control

Made my 10 powers go from a max of

10,20,30 percent throttle so I could just hold it WOT and only do a 10, 20 percent throttle pull to look at tune etc
10 percent turns a busa into a 125 only able to get up to 60-65 mph LOL

That is so cool...and funny about the power percentages! :D

That top box would be awesome if it flipped open into a seat...I'de have somebody schauffer me around...

I as talking to a friend of mine last evening who were recently visiting Florida.

His wife and he saw a gen 3 and gen 2 Hayabusa at a dealership there and his wife made an interesting observation, she said the gen 2 looked cartoonish whereas the gen 3 looks more refined and "grown up."

To be honest, after looking at my bike in the garage for a bit, she's right.....

I heard someone say the gen 2 looks like a melted gummy bear but I think it’s the sexiest motorcycle ever made. I was shopping for a red 2020 gen 2 when I bought my gen 3 mainly because I needed the higher bars and wanted the electronics and cruise control.
