What did you do to your Gen 3 today?

I'm happy with the Busa as it is right now. Sometimes I'm envious of your speed/drag builds, but this sport touring setup works for me. Such a versatile bike.
I had another owner question why, If the 3 is so good did I later buy a Gen-2.

I absolutely love the Gen-3, after several Busa’s it’s the best I’ve ridden, but I don’t want it to be long, low, loud, without mirrors etc etc, so another toy means it gets to stay as nice as it is.

And don't have a moment of retardation where, because you flipped the cowl upside down to cut it, you get the front and back confused. I ...heard about somebody who did that. (Fortunately it was on the inner black part to make clearance for a top case mount and the error didn't matter).

The really big mistake you don't want to do is to be distracted when removing the whole rear fairing. Or rather I should say putting it back on. Because it is so easy to forget to reconnect the cowl lock cable. Your oversight will most likely occur to you in the half second after you click the rear cowl back into locked position. That's one that will have you throwing a chair through a window in frustration...

Some more carbon for the nose came in. Just waiting for the mirror panels to come in now and I’ll tear everything apart

Finally got around to installing some of the carbon poop I’ve had sitting in my garage for months. Everything isn’t snuggled up yet, fitment is okay if you’re not a perfectionist. I’ll break out the drill and move some material around to get it as close as I can. I also have a significantly more intense LED coming for the headlight so that’ll be a fun science project.

Headlight: Alifperformance
Windscreen panel: motocomposites
I also ordered carbon panels that the mirrors bolt through but they’re on 3-6 week back order

I love my Zero Gravity windscreen, follows the lines so much better than the Puig I had.

Any more info on the RX7, I tried to look you up on IG but couldn't find you lol
Ohhh yea I currently deactivated my page but I'll be back soon lol but yea I loved the ZG over the puig because it's not as tall and it definitely goes better with the shape of the front fairing.

As far as the rx7, that's my street strip girl lol still rotary, 13b from 3rd gen rx7, single 69mm borg turbo, e85,@ 33psi she made 675rwhp, Ford 8.8 rear end, 8.50 cage, all the works of a safe/fun/fairly reliable street car. I drive it to meets , work, grocery store. But also does 9s in the 1/4. Love that thing! Lol

Any Mazda that is still a rotary is just epic anyway. My best friend is from the PR and he got me into the Doritos instead of LS swapping everything

Yea u gotta be a special type of crazy to be into these wankels lol but honestly I wouldn't change it. I love my brap mobile and it's never let me down...I actually have a 6.0 lq4 in my garage and a th400 I'm considering throwing in another rx7 I'll be getting soon from a buddy just to have the best of both worlds lol

And its only a matter of time before the gen 3 busa is boosted all in due time lol

I'm from Puerto Rico, and culturally, we are not weary of rotaries the way people from the CONUS are. Even older female friends of mine who are not gearheads have spoken fondly of the rotaries their exes had in their Turbos, Starlets or GLCs. :D
