What did you do to your Gen 3 today?

Moved it after a month and a half of sitting. Miracle it started right away. I was expecting a dead battery. Anyway, my friend's wife found four newborn kittens from a neighborhood stray cat under the bike cover by the rear tire.

I leave my Gen 3 in their garage since it's further from the beach than mine. All four babies look totes different from each other. :D
 
I walked into cycle gear to pick up a new visor and to see the new Shoei and ended up with a clearance Q5S lolol $75 off aint a bad deal.

Yes, if my reading was right the difference is in the compounds. The Q5S has a little better wear as the S designated “street”. It has the tiny little grooves around the edge but other than that i believe all the same. It’s definitely a soft as hell compound lol

Dropped it today off the rear stand.., absolutely sick about it too. Washed it and it started to sprinkle but who cares as I am washing it anyway. Got done, trying to get it off the stand and of course it leans that way and it’s wet and I’m at the tail section so not at all positioned to catch its weight and the front slides out and…. “I had to lay her down”.

I have compartmentalized the damage to my material object. I am okay with myself, even despite the hassles this will bring. And I hope that you feel better soon.

As far as drops go this looks like a best case scenario minimum damage. New paint and wrap and it’s back to new

A couple of more pics and for those that are interested I purchased the XLGLOW 18pc kit. I also added 10 more strips, and 4 more splitters. This kit is expensive but the quality seems to be very high. The app works great and I also tapped into the brake light so now when I apply the brakes all of the light turn red.

If someone around here has those on while riding, (or driving a car) they are instant cop bait..

But look really cool while parked...

My brother has them on his Beemer and while at a BMW owner's rally he was able to find his bike in the parking area at night really easy....not so easy now as almost all of them have these now...
 
Vanity lights use to be illegal here in Maryland at one time. From what I was told ABATE successfully lobbied for the law to be changed.

Since then the police do not have the legal authority to stop you as long as while you are in motion RED. BLUE or FLASHING lights can NOT be in use. While you are parked you can have them how you want.

I keep my blue lights on most of the time and I never get pulled over since most police won’t pull over a sport bike here in Maryland especially in the metro area.

I’ll always think these are cool on the inside. My wife wants
Me to get a kit that lights up when I’m on the brakes but I still can’t bring myself to do it
