What did you do to your Gen 3 today?

What is this for?

No more fuses or relays, app controlled, and way more.

I plan on getting a few other accessories and this will help me control power distribution.

Finally got to ride around the block tonight. This thing is low and LOUD. Like echos through the houses loud but it sounds so fuckin good just cruising first and second gear. I can’t wait to rip it into 5th this week. The projector I put in my Alif headlight is better than stock light output. It’ll piss cars off but they won’t be able to say they didn’t see me. I have it wired so it’s high beam only. Maybe when I have the nose apart again I’ll switch it to low and high, but if memory serves me it really doesn’t make a difference

And because @smithabusa will help us delete our abs but gets morals all of a sudden and won’t build us a ghost mode relay I’m working on at least being able to kill the main headlight Lolol

And one of the new ride height just because I can

Looks nice!

On my old gen2 at one time I converted to an HID projector for the low beam. Looked really good but what sucked was the drastic cutoff on the side beam output.

At one time I rode at night a lot and this made cornering very dangerous since I had zero beam scatter.

A couple of years ago I eventually purchased a new headlight and converted the hi/low to LED. I also added a Clearwater Darla…the new combo on full power at night was incredible!

In tonight’s version of “I should have left it alone” I found out that with the Vortex Gen 2 rearsets, if your exhaust lets you go all the way down and back, there is no way to get the stock quick shifter to work in GP pattern. One way the shift lever sits too low and rests in the kick stand. The other way the shifter hits the QS on downshifts (lever up).

Greg is going to making me a Max soon and when that gets here I’ll get a Translogic qs and the small body of that paired with a simple shift rod and everything will fit perfectly

Finally made it around the block with everything set right tonight. Nothing exciting, just a cool exhaust note/view. It’ll ride so much nicer once my Penske is back from being resprung I can’t wait. Hopefully tomorrow I can go out and make some WOT passes

Made myself a new “license plate” bracket today. Also got the QS figured out spacing wise with the new rear sets. Just waiting on my Brock’s kickstand to get here so the shifter quits hitting the stand

It *should* be in the low 460s maybe high 450s on a friendly scale. I just ordered a new tank bracket and I have core motos in a box waiting to go on. I’ll be happy as long as it’s sub 450. The rest of the weight is starting to get fuckin expensive.
time to dump the fi and go carb. lose the pump, electric throttle control, sensors, etc.

how much did the arata weigh?
8.6lbs if me memory is right.

I had a Lectron on my Raptor when it had nitrous on it before I turbod it lol.

I think Scott’s whole turbo system for Gen 3s is approx 45 lbs. I figure a 500lb bike that makes 350 at the tire is about the perfect balance of rideable to rocket ship. And Pulsar now has T51R anti surge covers for their 3” inlet turbos so it’ll make all sorts of spooly noises
