What did you do to your Gen 3 today?

@SS4Luck can you document the removal process for the plastic around the nose/mirrors plz?
It would be great to see that captured in images with steps and recommendations. I have a cracked piece under a mirror i have to dwap but not done yet.
That exact piece in your image interestingly enough.
Thx
I can walk you through it, but I’ve taken a bunch of shut out of that area already so you’ll still have to do some figuring out on your own but everything is in plain sight for the most part.

Got all of the carbon nose pieces fitted together. I forgot to get 5mm sheet metal screws at work today so nothing is bolted together in the pictures. I also have 1/4” 3M VHB double sided tape to make sure corners stay down at speed etc

Overall I’m very happy with fitment being that there are 3 different companies parts here. It’ll look perfect from 5’

Here we go.

The sound on this is incredible. It’s definitely loud as hell, but it’s not just noise. It’s still deep and bass-y but also has some new agressive tone with it too. I’m definitely excited to go out and make hits and see how it makes the bike feel now.
God that sounds good! My Yosh AT2 full system may be even louder, and definitely higher pitch, so I'd much rather have it sounding like yours. Looking like it could deepthroat a tennis ball is pretty sexy too!

But it's funny, maybe I'm just older but now that we have results in, I know my pipe is narrower, and that constriction robs it of high-end HP. But what I've read is that my torque curve is a couple of bumps higher. And I wouldn't trade it. I am loving the grunt out of the twisty corners...

After much longer than I want to admit, I finally got this thing to a point I could have test rode it. But my battery is dead….

New swingarm (evil 4-6)
New 520 sprockets and chain (Vortex steel/aluminum, EK3D)
Arata Delta II
Adjusted my vortex rearsets
Abs delete from BoostBySmith
Core moto brake and clutch lines
Alif Performance top clamp with carbon bars
ASV levers
A bunch of carbon for the nose
Mirimoto LED projector retrofitted into my Alif “headlight”
Some more weight reduction
Removed the kanji cuz I couldn’t stand how cramped and bad the right side looked

Looking AWESOME

Curious as to what it weighs now...and how you fare against the 1k's with the new mods.
It *should* be in the low 460s maybe high 450s on a friendly scale. I just ordered a new tank bracket and I have core motos in a box waiting to go on. I’ll be happy as long as it’s sub 450. The rest of the weight is starting to get fuckin expensive.

Smaller Kanji? Looks nakie

It’s gone. It’s always bugged me how the left hand kanji flows so nicely down the fairing and the right hand one is cut off and doesn’t flow with the body lines and is cut off too and bottom so I removed them. I know the look isn’t for everyone but my OCD just couldn’t hang.

You are OCD too so you should appreciate this: Vehicle sides as "left" and "right", at least from "cool" people such as us (well you, certainly not me) are determined from the driver's or rider's view. It is the right side kanji which is da boss while the left side kanji is deer pellets.

you got me. I’m so used to looking at it in the garage instead of riding the bike I got turned around
