Well today did the radar detector, after checking out a ton of mounts I just stuck it on the clutch cover with 3m, from there the marc parns light under the windsheild, same setup Ive used on mt K1200s for years, just be sure the light hits you righ in the eyes. Uniden R4 BTW on sale amazon right now as well. I used normal velco I had but have some of that 3m mushroom type super high strength on the way. If it vibrates to much ill make a plate of some type for it

Work has been insane so I haven't had time to actually wrench. But I brought my seat pan to work with me and finally got this thing wrapped. Some goue bled through and there is a corner or two that could be tighter but for 10 minutes of learning on YouTube I am stoked it came out the way it did.

I still have a carbon seat pan on order. But I figure if there's a special Hayabusa event in 3 weeks to take my bike to I better make sure it's not on a shitty plastic stock seat pan

Made a small plate from a hunk of carbon fiber I had to fit the top on the clutch master so as to firm up the radar detector mount, its rock solid now. Hopefully my suzuki touring windsheild will arrive today, did 135 miles the other day and it will be nice get a tad more wind protection. (6`5¨)

I learned something most probably already know, but off chance others don't..

The small black push clips... I've never paid attention to the order I put them in or any bolts when reinstalling or removing fairings. End up fighting the little push clips some where. Taking the tail on and off a dozen times, I realized there was an order. If you install them FIRST they all just go right in, then follow up with the actual hardware.

I a little fairy told me you can get away with running no other hardware in the tail except for the 4 black push pins under the seat with no issues to help with fitment issues

Totally believe it, even learned the bolts I replaced where old frankenstien bolts were.... aren't even needed to be removed since they are almost flush.

If you get the push pins installed, the other 6 bolts are cake. I'll probably always put them back in, mainly so I don't forget to connect the hump cable. Did that on the Gen2 and wasn't much fun to release, lol.

The suzuki touring screen got here, its about 1½ to 2 incher higher and a "double bubble" shape, gettinbg ready to snow out so no testing now lol, heres a couple shots of it, fits the bike perfect with zero shake and is quite thick as well, all in all a nice screen, I will say they should have done it tinted like the factory one, but probably some regulation as for sure you can look through it a lot more, oh well
