Pulled my Clunky rear shocks off the max to diagnose clunk

Pulled Fuel tank out of it,
Not so much rust but the stench of bad fuel WHEWY Reserve sending unit looks corroded
Stopping at Walmart on way home for vinegar to clean inside tank
and Gunk or something to clean outside
Everything I go to do , opens a new can of worms :D

Right. So far I got the cruising rand down between 13.9-14.2. Id say that’s not too bad. The mpg meter is steadily climbing. Can’t do a ton of riding as the temps are 100+ so maybe in a few weeks IF it drops into the 90s, I can give it a true test. Of course after all is said and done, I’ll end up with the 128 kit and nasty cam. Shooting for a 150/150 dyno run. A buddy just did a 131ci and hit 163/157, that dang thing is a beast!

I would take a pretty well set up bike to beat that thing stop light to stop light.....

Holy chyt man! My house doesn't go that big. I thought I sounded good in my helmet with my lowly 100 Amps.

If you crank up the tunes you will gain mileage on your tank as the sound waves will push you along....

Tomorrow is going to be even hotter. I keep reading about this vmax but I dont see any pictures. ive been looking at a vmax but the wife would murder me. I'm trying to get away with buying a dirtbike for wheelies and hooliganism..

Get a beater 1k and put dirt bike bars on it...best hoon bike ever...cheap, and comfortable.
 
I've been wanting to ride for a few weeks now, but it's 90 degrees with 60% humidity...at 8pm...and will still be at midnight.
Hot days are normal, but these are the hottest nights, and for several weeks now too, much hotter than the nights have been in well over 20 years
