Yeah that was a good thread . Maybe it should be bumped or merged .
I have owned over 80-90 but some of note , not counting dirt bikes , to at least me were ;
The 1972 KE 175 that I modded myself at age 15 and picked on Yamaha 360 Enduro's with it . Took it on a 7 day trip through the Ozarks . Left out with 35 bucks in my pocket , came home with 5.00
Going back a year that 1971 Mach III 500 with Denco chambers was pretty fun as was the 1975 Mach IV 750 with Denco's a little later . A 1979 Honda CBX was a fun one at the time .
A couple of Gamma 500's , a POS TZ700 and the 1983 GS 1100E with a Yoshimura head " yes , they did head work way back " that I won the Soul Brother's National on back in 1984 .It was just a stock looking street bike with giant Norris cams and 1134 MTC pistons - 33 Mikuni's .
He!! , I am boring myself so will stop now but out of all the bikes ,the one and only one I wish I had kept was the 1983 1100 Katana .
Pics on the web don't do those bikes justice . They were works of art at the time and I have not been able to locate one in absolute pristine stock condition so I am deeply disturbed and thinking of giving up riding over it .
