What do you use to clean the wheels

(hayabusa4fun @ Dec. 16 2006,20:20) Honda Polish... Can carefully wrapped in duct tape so the bike can't read the label...

Definitely Honda Polish. It not only cuts the grease, but leaves a shine and protective film.

On the wheels now ......not the tires !

WD40 here. Mineral spirits? Don't get it on your tire...it will dry rot them faster than you can wipe it off.

WD 40 is too expensive for upkeep cleaning and Simple Green is too harsh for painted surfaces ! When I had my stock rims I would use Kerosene to clean my chain and rims followed up with a bucket of murphy oil soap and water. The kerosene is a recommended chain cleaner by Suzuki as well and can be bought by the gallon cheap at LOWES and don't forget to get one of the oil can squirt thingy to apply the kerosene to your chain and rims.

Oh yeah, the bucket of and water should be used on t=the bike plastics first and the last bit on the rims. Followed up with a good polish and wax (plastic and rims).

I apply 'Protect-All' straight to the effected areas of the wheels onto the "fling" and wipe my polished wheels in a straight line i.e., spoke to spoke and never swirling motions.

Follow with wax, wipe and polish.

Finish with foam window cleaner to remove any residual grime or soil.

Mirror like finish without any water used!

This product is far better than Honda polish, in my most humble and time educated opinion!
I use the same thing, the stuff works that good, especially on wheels.....

Only cleaner we will have on the shelf....

I use to use the Plexus and Honda spray, once you try the Protect all you will never go back....hmmm heard that somewhere else...
