Actually the lenses are not touched by me at all. They are made by a machine. We injection mold 2 parts. The contact, in a liquid form, is placed in one side then they are pressed together and cured.Cool!I make contact lenses for a living. Only work 7 days out of a 2 week period, so I can't complain too much.
I always wondered...
Are they injection molded and then ready to go, or do they have to be turned on a lathe?

I started my *cough* career working with Oracle dbs...I wasn't in the IT field though...I was asked, no begged, by my boss to apply for a programmer's position in IT 4 years back...everything I work with now is SQL based...the bulk of my job is dealing with third party s/w packages on SQL platforms...I dabble in tons of other things in the IT field, but SQL Server is my baby...Don't feel small my little friend.I suddenly feel very...small...Oracle DBA...

My experience has taken a bit of time to build... I have been doing DBA work for 13 years... Sys. Admin for 14... And, programming for 20 years!!!
