I think you will find there will be far more division under Trump.....

There are many political analysts who are very concerned for the future of American democracy under Trump as he is conducting very questionable acts....

One of which was the creation of DOGE and placing an unelected "friend" in charge of it and giving that "friend" power over government officials..........

Musk who made his fortune from government contracts now has complete access to all US government files, plans including classified material......what a great way for a person who owns a large civilian communication network and does global trade with the enemies of America to get his foot in the door.....and gain access to all the information on his companies competitors......

That should be raising a huge red flag for US citizens.....

Musk has made his fortune by doing things better than anyone else. He beat NASA at making rockets. By a wide margin of cost savings. He has bought internet access to the world in a few years. Something noone else could figure out. FEMA, whom I worked for as a civilian contractor, is a mess. And has been a mess. Kill it and start over. I don't know enough about USAID. But trying to lock out the cost cutters raises a red flag for me.

We just lost an F-35 in Alaska. At $80M+ a unit. Not the 1st loss. 11 have crashed since 2018. $880+M gone. Halt it. Something needs to be fixed or eliminated. The F-22 has an even worse loss record They are $360M a pop. 16 have been lost. That's 5.76B Halt it. Fix what's wrong.

NONE OF THESE AIRCRAFT WERE LOST IN COMBAT! We need to figure out why they are being lost in peacetime exercises. It's costing us Billions.

The Democrats should have hired him before they managed to piss him off and leave them behind.

Same for Besos. He can either turn around our failing USPS or eliminate it and privatize our U.S mail system. It's been a $$ drain for years now. Amazon could start delivering mail in about 30 days and eliminate the USPS. Nobody knows how to do it any better or cheaper than him.

We all know the least efficient way to do anything, is put the govt in charge of it. We need to start running our country like a business instead of a $$ siphoning down the drain straight from our pockets.

We need to completely re-evaluate the hand outs to foreign countries that are in place.

And our social welfare programs. I transport for the underprivileged for the state. They supposedly have little or no $$. And for the most part most don't. But some I pick them up in apartments that cost $1500/mth to rent. I pick them up in hotels that you go online and see are running $175/day. They have purses they carry that cost more than what I spend on groceries in 4 months. They can afford cigarettes at what is it now $8/pack. Somebody needs to re-evaluate all of that handout structure. Because they are taking away from others that need these resources worse than them.

Yes Trump is controversial. We haven't gotten cheaper by doing it the same old way. He's trying it from a different approach. And picking successful people that have already proven they can do things better. Sorry, not sorry. If Musk ends up worth another 10B richer and put money in my pocket to do it, I won't complain. Its better than anything the liberals ever did for me.

But in speaking of the F-35, it is a very, very complex aircraft operating on the edge of technology.......and having Musk as a co-president isn't going to change anything when it comes to this.

He managed to convince 14% of the population they were doing the right thing in owning a Tesla. Those people believed he was the future for saving the world. Until he left the Democratic party. Now he has to be demonized. The fact is, he is the biggest disruptor we have had in probably a century. NASA has already conceded that if man makes it to Mars, Musk will be the reason. That's not snakeoil. Musk is still an innovator.

I never supported him going to China to "help" them make EVs. China is our enemy. Musk needed cheaper cars to sell. Now China will beat him in the EV space. Anything they do will be to build their own power base. Trump agrees with that. So I don't support the whole Musk is going to sell our soul to China. We've already done that! Long before Trump ever ran for office.

Nobody wants to credit Trump for fracturing Chinas economy. He did. Nobody wants you to see that part. Then along came COVID and we relied on our enemy to provide us with basic medical supplies. China capitalized. We need to not ever be put in that position again. Biden praises China. I'm sick of that. They are our enemy. And should be treated like it.

I will give a Biden a solid win for at least trying to re-start chip manufacturing back up in this continent. That's one strategic thought I agree with.

I don't care if we disagree on this. What we had wasn't working. Maybe you can roll over and tolerate it up there. What we have in Trump also may not. But we do know what Trump did his 1st time at bat. And the majority of the nation at least for now, agrees. I grew very tired of rolling over and taking it. You are 2 weeks into a new administration. And already believe exactly what the Libtards want you to believe. I won't judge any administration in 2 weeks. But I recognize that this time around Trump is swinging a much bigger bat at things. And has much more talent in his camp than before.

I'm my own man, nobody sets a narrative on me but I have very good cognizant vision and I don't need a long time to see someone for what they are......Trump and Musk aren't a couple of people who've just come on to the scene and were unknows before......and their true spots are being shown.

However, for once I'm glad I don't live in the US and good luck to those of you who do......
