Who Makes the Preferred Helmet?

Had an Shoei RF1000 save my head. I hit the ground hard enough to break a bone in my ear and internal bleeding in my head. If it wasnt for the helmet I wouldnt be typing this. I had an old aria. I like the way the shoei x11 fits. I have a few. Post my fav. OH, and I have a fast angel

I think, of all my helmets, and it's not the most expensive, this one is my favorite.
It's at exactly the right stage of wear.
It's the RF-1000 model, from the Diabolic line.
I have one X-11, and while it's a more advanced piece of gear, it's too new to really enjoy. I have yet to take it into the canyons...

Shark RSR2 kicks Shoei's ass and any other helmet for that matter.
I've looked and looked and cannot for the life of me find an 'ass' on my helmet, anywhere!!!
Just kidding, yo...Shark's getting tons o' great press lately.

I have a Shoei, a Shark RSR2 and an Arai(I just bought), and I like them all(but the Arai is my current favorite, cause it is new)

1.) Shoei RF-1000 (1 Sever=current, Diabolics I=destroyed by crash, Nerve=destroyed in crash)
2.) KBC VR2 Gunslinger (destroyed from crash @ trackday) I hit my head hard on low side crash @ 70 mph. walked away from incident but had some headaches later that evening.

Interesting revelation, Ryan.
I got to help a guy out at Fun Bike Center last night. He was looking at helmets while I was conducting other business there, and as I walked by him I just greeted him. So, he latched on to me like I worked there or something.
He had no clue, so I gave him ALL of mine.
I felt, briefly, very important.
He ended up buying an Arai.
