I got about 70 miles in after I finished the odds and ends around the house it was overcast here today and about 68-70 degrees so it was a nice cool ride, was trying to get back before dark so I only grabbed this quick pic. The wife rode with me she sold her SV 650 and I find myself missing her...

Took my dirt bike into the hill country today, crisp clear cool day..... awesome!

Not today, not this week. Even the Park is hot and it’s an hour in 100+ temps to get to and from the high mountain lakes where it’s cooler. Real hot spate we’re having. But, it’s better than DV!

I rode the busa today. Yeah, that 14 is really exciting with the sound and the +4 rear sprocket and it is REALLY light and tips in very easy and I don't have that damn annoying ignition retard the busa has below 7000 rpm......but I'm leaning the busa a lot harder regardless of everything else. The chicken strips tell the tale and I can feel it. I'm more hesitant going into a corner on the 14.
I don't know if it's just which one you get used to riding more or if it's the tires because I don't like the tires I put on the 14. Or is it a difference in the bikes???
I think the main thing is the tires because I had the rear chicken strips down to almost nothing on the 14 a few years back just like the busa. The solution is that I have to start riding both every day! I'd fully expect the people around the lake to call the cops if I started doing that.

I rode the Busa today to do a couple errands. It has been hot and humid lately. I still need to get a short USB cable for the Zetronix camera you can see inside my dash (came out of my old van I sold). I hooked up a USB port but need a 6 inch cable from that to my camera. That or get another mount so I can switch my GoPro back and forth from the ZX.
