Now that was a great day !

Went out for a quick ride this morning to get a part of the lawn tractor...it was a cool (ish) morning and the bike really liked all that cool air getting rammed down it's throttle bodies...

Went to start the beastie and it acted like the battery was dead (or close to it), bike hardly turned over, I let it sit for a minute or so and bam it started right up.

I tried to recreate this when I got home and it started each and every time...

I guess I'll go in and check all the connectors just to be sure.

RJ ,and I rolled to the book store to confess our wheelie sins. Picked up groceries for dinner . Finally found who might of made this cross penny found about ten years ago . Been rolling on a bike key chain since.

Little warm today . At one point in paddle foot traffic it said 123 F

Fyi my first application for a job in Phoenix looks good . They have reached back out to me

It’s 108 today in Phoenix. That’s only one degree less than Death Valley, appropriately named IMO. Not exactly known for green trees, lakes, rivers and mountains.

It's a dry heat, though. :D Lived in Tucson for 2-1/2 years growing up.

Many beautiful things in the desert. High country 2 hours away. Terry if had had suffered Houston Tx , and it's weather events for 47 years the desert is sounding real nice .

You know that makes no sense right? It’s like moving from Furnace Creek to Death Valley. 111 degrees today in Phoenix. I bet the A/C companies do a good business there, but there’s no A/C on a motorcycle.

If it ain't terminal connections a little loose, maybe charge the battery then load test it (hit the starter button and check the voltage drop on ya volt meter), any way, I'm sure you know the drill Bill, also, I wonder if your starter motor is a little tired?

AC doesnt work as hard in AZ say compared to Houston with the humidity.
they are busy in the summer but not busy in the winter

Some information about Gulf coast region . Hurricane seasons , tropical storms , RAIN always when you want to do something . Winter high humidity = bone chilling temps of just 40's to low 50's . Sure we have some decent weather at times but you can never Plan something . Phoenix one can plan weeks out without a weather event to be a issue . My wife lived there for a long time before Texas . Until you have experienced both places to compare looking from the outside its seems little difference , but there is a huge difference .
Bugs from the swamp are not fun . Have you seen a Texas mosquito ???
