Who Rode Today?

Our season is fast approaching and my best riding buddy got done by the cops yesterday. 140kph in a 80 zone. That's about 85mph in 50 zone +/-. 5km from home and didn't notice the new sign. That him out now for 12 months. On the spot come and get someone to pick you and the bike up.. New riding buddy time..
That's tough.

...not to mention "Mr Insurance company" awaiting his return to motorcycling...

Rode RJ to church at our baseball field . A little funny walked into field with my bible and got funny looks . Realize church was upstairs in a rented area .
Made a hardware run to the country feed store . Picked up new water hose 75 feet plus a sprayer. Last a gun store run . Bought the wife a new knife one handed operation with a button, and glass break on the end .

Kinda nice to see a 'Grand Opening' sign during these hard times.

That was my first thought, figured they were checking out my sweet ride, but since I was nowhere near Roswell or a trailer park...........probably not.
Ok,ok, I'm gonna put this to bed and reveal what that shadow really is . . . .
That is light refracting thru the headlamp lens and reflector, and casting it's shadow on the fender,

Refraction definition . .
  1. the fact or phenomenon of light, radio waves, etc. being deflected in passing obliquely through the interface between one medium and another or through a medium of varying density.
    • change in direction of propagation of any wave as a result of its travelling at different speeds at different points along the wave front.
    • measurement of the focusing characteristics of an eye or eyes.

Rode 130miles this afternoon,,,,,,,,,,75* and zero wind :D
The Michelin RS is killer, the front is on a rail, even though my Pilot Power rear tire still has plenty of tread it's damn tempting to shoe on the new RS. View attachment 1626409

Love that bike except that headlight cover...being seen is hard enough on a bike without minimizing it.

Some idiot will turn left in front of you and I'd sure hate to hear about that-as would any of us. The first thing said idiot would say is "I didn't see the bike."

When I got my bike it had rear signal light covers...those were one of the first things to go.

It's only important that I see them,The headlight never seemed to stop idiots from pulling out in front of me,regardless of what vehicle I'm operating,I don't expect them to see me under any circumstances, anyway they are much too busy looking at their phones and can't be bothered with watching where they are going.
I agree that headlights are important,,,,,,,,when the sun goes down:D

PS. the headlight is removed, what you see there is a carbon fiber insert:Ddropped 4 lbs off the nose:thumbsup:

Well then I guess it wouldn't matter if there's no headlight. I started riding when you could shut the headlight off from the factory so I feel you on that.

I take it you don't ride at night or in low light conditions?

I know when I'm driving the first thing I see is the headlight but then again, I'm looking for them.

4 Lbs you say? @c10 will be thinking about if he really needs a headlight with those weight savings...

I'm generally a daytime rider as well...I'm also a member of CAR (Candy Assed Riders), I don't ride in rain or poor weather anymore...if I look at the weather forecast and I'm not 100% happy with what I see, the bike stays in the garage.
