Who Rode Today?

I got out on the urban assault Busa today , but not in the hills like I had sort off planned , but instead down to the storm ravaged beach . I have been in lockdown for a week , and with really poor weather , great to get out and ride . I thought I give the country shire councils time to clean up debris etc. before I get out in them hills for a good blast .

Didn't ride the bike as I took my buddy to a Dr appt 100miles away...

As I had time to kill, I stopped by a few bike dealerships, their inventory was really low...but I got over to the Duck dealership and they had 5 bikes...I got a picture of three of them (they had two Street Fighters and two Diavels).

I also looked at the Alpinestars jacket that Suzuki is offering (minus the Hayabusa logos) and it is not an inexpensive jacket, very nice...I was surprised at how heavy it is....

I saw a great Alpinestars textile jacket but they had none in my size and although they said they can order one it might be a month or more getting to me...and I still would have to make sure I like how it fits so it is a crap shoot...

I forgot to take my phone into the other bike shops, the Honda shop had a whole pile of the Groms and Africa Twins...which didn't sell....so far....they had a few CBR650Rs and one CBR1000RRR SP which the salesman said they were having a hard time selling-so much so that if another dealership asks them for it, they will sell it to them just to get it off their inventory....there was no price tag on it but I can imagine the price....

I went into a BMW/Kawasaki/Triumph/Yamaha dealership they had a bunch of cool bikes...two of which were matching low km, mint 1988 FJ1200 in white and silver...

These look pretty damn clean! Ughhh why do I love motorcycles so much LOL

A round trip out (and back) to visit family. Total mi: 100 and 4 SoCal freeways.
I did manage an indicated 140 (so, 130, cuz of sprockets) but honestly, this being SoCal, there just isn't room enough to WOT very often on commutes such as these. I am, however, lane splitting more, unfortunately.

650IB was having a meet up today in Richmond at 4pm so I thought I’d go. It was a four hour ride for me. I leave around 10:30 this morning and got to there around 03:00. I grabbed lunch in the area to wait to go to the spot. As I’m scrolling through posts, I read that at the same time I was leaving, he posted it was cancelled. So I headed back home. It was all highway and 80% of it was stop and go traffic. So around 400 miles today. But I did get to see a nice sunset from an IKEA parking lot.

Isn't there a saying about the worst day of riding is always better than the best day of not riding??

Figured I’d ride the low km(5728km to be exact) 99 Busa to work, don’t ride it as much and prefer to keep it in pristine condition. Ideally my favourite colour out of the 99’s.

Mainly lives in the dining room.

Snap!! Same model and colour scheme as mine... but mine has 142000kms on the clock!
How the heck did you find such a mint low kms Busa like that?

Went out yesterday but boy was it nippy!
Had a good clean ride, no issues, light traffic, road conditions damp in the shadows and being winter here, lots of shadows!
Temp was 14 degC at 2 pm, that was the high..... looking forward to summer lol
