I had a great ride yesterday (Saturday), took our shop's demo bike (2020 Suzuki V Strom DL1050) out for a blast and hooked up with my mate on his K6 GSXR1000.
I just want to say that he had trouble shaking me on the tight corners in the hills, and when I was in front, as I was coming out of a corner with him following I was getting on the gas way sooner and he was going backward in my mirror!!
So the V Strom has very good handling, good power, excellent brakes (not that I used them much-hardly needed to) all the electronic aids.... traction control, ABS, 3 power modes, and cruise control,

but boy are they butt ugly to look at lol.

Agreed, ugly, but hard to see when riding ... fortunately!

You could never replace RJ.....that bike was one of a kind...

Yeah that colour scheme is horrid but definitely an improvement over the last Gen.

My dentist, and I met up for dinner . Wednesday night pasta night. I took the dealers Katana.
FYI the Katana logo mean knife in Japanese Kanji. I learned from Alex Japan uses Chinese symbols for words .

Those new Katanas aren't a bad looking bike and a Katana is a medium sword not a knife.

It certainly is....I used to be a Katana die hard at one time....both the sword and the bike...

Suzuki was using Kanjis before the rest were....no Kanji on this Katana though
