Who Rode Today?

Nice little 450k round trip today.
Avg temp about 25c, perfect weather.

Man, I never get tired of how well these bikes just chew up the miles. And go round corners when asked.

Tires look boogered...like they Were liking those corners.
Still cold, and raining here, not the most fun to ride in.
Thanks for sharing a nice weather ride...I'm looking forward to those again soon.
Very good pickup.. lol
She’s due into the shop for a new set of Road 6’s this week. I’ll be the first set they have seen and fitted. Got about 7000kms out of the Road 5s

Normally I’d just take the rims up, the shop owner is a ex racer, so he’s going to do a once over for me while there.

I’m in with a few friends for a track day the week, (my first), after next, so hoping to scrub them in before I go..

I did! If you’re ever in the Ocala area stop in at The Flyin Boat Tap Room and get some eats!! I love their Spicy Garlic wings! 55 degrees and sprinkling rain but we made the 1hr15min ride and all 5 of us got the same order!
You won’t be disappointed

128 Smiles on the Busa, just puttin around. Only saw triple digits a couple times. Managed 42 mpg taking on just three gallons. Saw a few bikes, one GSXR railing up hiway 49 and an RR BMW snob who stopped where I was but parked about 50’ away and never walked over or waved or…

I see you met a little friend along the way....

We have a family of crows that come to our yard every morning for breakfast....

Yeah, a couple of them but the bigger one was a bully. They landed on a dirty snow pile near me so I shared a Snickers bar with them. The big one actually blocked and pushed the other one trying for a snack. See the feathers on this one?

Got up to 7,852’ today crossing the Tamarack Ridge near China Peak above Huntington Lake and Shaver Lake for a nice 162 miles round trip. Managed 46 mpg. Shaver lake was really low. The dirt you see was completely covered the last time I saw it. Huntington lake had ice covering it. Beautiful day but 48 degrees up high. Like riding inside a refrigerator but with a view. Suppose flying these jets in a straight line, regardless of their speed, is…boring?:) Saw a few bikes including two novice Sportster riders with their legs splayed wide. I rode as far as possible on the north side of the lake until I hit ice so I turned around. The burn areas were awful, just thousands of dead trees sticking up out of the snow.
