Who Rode Today?

Went on a short ride yesterday since it was in the 70s for the first time. A lot of bikes on the road. I came up on a group of Harley riders that were in the left lane going the posted speed limit. I passed on the right and as soon as I pass, they try and catch up. This seems to happen often with a group of Harley’s going slow in the left lane and getting upset when they are passed.

Weather is great for the next week or so and I’m taking advantage of it. Got in a nice 135 miler on the Z today and even above 7,000’ it was in the mid 60s. Snow melt and black sand was a lil scary up high in the shady corners but overall a nice sweet ride in the mountains. Got 49 mpg which was nice as 91 octane was $6.39 per!

Rode as far as possible up Glacier Pt. road and learned that the entire road will be closed until 2023 for road resurfacing. Some sections of it (are) really bad and this is probably the first time it’s ever been totally resurfaced. Takes a beating being under snow most of the year too.

Damn... Sensational. Beautiful

damn......that lake is almost gone:crazy:

Yeah, we’re gonna have a real drought summer this year I’m afraid. The river was higher than just a couple weeks ago though. I rode down underneath that bridge but I’m never doing that again! The two car (jeep) tracks looked okay from the parking lot but not when I got down there. Once committed I couldn’t turn around until and if I made it to the bridge. Those tire tracks were above deep trenches on either side and between covered by tall grass. I had to stay within a 12”-18” wide swath between the trenches complete with ups and downs and tilting…was scary. Then….I had to turn around!
