I did my second ride of the season yesterday. It was not too warm in the morning but there was full sunlight. I mention the warming sun because I felt every bit of squirrelly behavior over every single tar strip that I ran through. Perhaps the tar is fresher, laid down after this winter? The bike has stock tires, I run near rated pressure, and I do a lot of slower park area riding.

Just checked the part number on that listing… it’s actually the small tail piece surrounding the tail lamp, not the long plastic rear seat cover, darn it!

I pass fruit stands everywhere but being on the bike I have little room to bring anything home.

I think I’ll head over the mountain tomorrow, hiway 49 to 4 to 89 east to 395 and then 395 south to 120 near Mono Lake and then west over the Tioga thru the Park and home. That’s three mountain passes over 8-9’000’. Anyone up for dinner tomorrow night at the Topaz Lodge south of Gardnerville NV?

Hi. My daughter went for a nice ride on the back roads of RI. She is getting better and better. I gave some thing to keep practicing and to watch bike racing so she can see what a bike and rider can do.

I was taking a panorama shot and apparently anything moving during the pan is distorted,crazy looking.
