Who Rode Today?

Cardo single unit $240. On Amazon. Works well for phone calls while riding and great sounding JBL speakers for music. Cardo and Sena cost more but I prefer quality.

So a single unit’s use is for the Bluetooth, phone and music, all hands free and then I’d have to buy the 2nd helmet unit to use as an intercom?

My group (about 8 regular and up to 15 at times) use these and they’re perfect for groups or 2 up riding. Can have phone and gps paired at the same time and they pair with your group whenever you get close. You don’t need the leader to be in the group to work and can gave different groups loaded into the app. Love my Cardos.

It will link up to 15 other units and link up to other brands, it’s hands free, I can voice command FM radio, music, phone and intercom, it will connect to 2 cell phones and a GPS all at the same time and you can set which you want as priority. I tried it for the first time yesterday, it JBL speakers rock! Called my wife a couple times and it was surprising how clear we could hear each other. I like it a lot.

Cool and grey today, but the MRA screen I installed yesterday really keeps the wind off of my head... yes, I have turned this once-cool hypersport into a total Dad-bike. What can I say? I'm old, I'm a Dad, and I do still have another 'Busa still in bad-azz street-cred trim. :p

Caught up to a sweet silver '09 'Busa while on the highway this afternoon... we shared a 'Busa Bro moment of peace signs and air-fist bumps together. Maybe the Dad'Busa still has some cred after all. :D

One of my grand daughters says her other grandfather makes fun of my bike and says at my age I should be riding a bike better suited for my age...I told her if I wanted a big boat like he rides, I'd take my truck...(sorry @SSGT_B but he rides the same bike as you only red...).

My daughter bought me a T shirt that says, Some grampas play bingo but real grampas ride motorcycles. This is Erin on her SV650 when we rode the coast hiway and back thru the Avenue of the Giants.

That’s too funny. Once the ohlins suspension gets on she will be a whole other ride :). Still comfy but can take some turns

Still will have that lean angle to contend with...

One time I rode one home for a colleague (he didn't have his bike license yet but bought a big HD) and coming into any corner made the hair on the back of my neck stand up as I wasn't sure it would go around it without grounding out the floor boards..

It didn't help that my daily was a GSXR 1K at the time.....I was used to leaning over...

Yessir, the lean angle will always be the issue in these big bikes and I have drug the floor board through a turn a time or two. Definitely makes the hair stand up. The concern is more of stability. Turns on stock suspension feels like a wash board. I resprung and valved the forks and that made a huge difference. Ther rear, only one shock has a preload adjustment. The other is open spring.

Ohlins over Legends?? Why?? I’m looking to upgrade at Daytona this year and these are the two front runners.
Honestly it’s a toss up. I don’t personally know anyone who has legends although they get a great review. Ohlins is price comparable and I know their quality and reputation. Definitely let me know which ones you go with. I could go either way although they must have remote res lol.

I'd imagine two up and bags full the upgraded suspension will really shine...
